After searching for months for a residence, my friend finally found a nice and comfortable place with great surroundings for his mother. She's been living at Vivendi for the last two years. She's very happy with the services and the warmth of the staff. Not to mention that its very affordable comparing it to other residences. If there were any issues, my friend spoke to the staff/manager and they acted right away. The problem is that when a patient becomes non-autonomous and needs more specific services, he can't stay there any more, the patient needs to be transferred to a CHSLD (that it’s a lot more expensive). Management will do their best to help relocate the patient. A protocol must be followed. The place is always clean, going through renovations and the patients are happy with the food, often done specially to their specific diet. I completely recommend Vivendi; the activities are great even if my friend's mom won't participate all the time.

The absolute worst. Although most of the staff is kind..there is very little compassion, smiling or conversation. It is seriously understaffed...creating dangerous situations. Extremely poorly managed by an incompitant individual who promises everything and delivers nothing. Great potential but needs new management. After 10 months of grief finally moved my family member out! Vivendi is a sad situation.

Fantastic residence. Staff are great and pay lots of attention. They do have activities 5 days a week with a nurse 7 days. Every visit I've made there is cleaning Staff, so I don't understand previous reviewers. Vivendi is extremely affordable, and very difficult to find such a place within budget. Food is good. Will be hard to find a replacement to Vivendi when extensive care for patient that need to be transferred to a private CHSLD because too expensive easy at $3500 plus.

I had to find a nice seniors home for my Aunt, one that she could afford with her monthly government pension. Some places in the West Island were asking for too much a month! At Residences Vivendi the room rates more affordable. That was perfect for her budget. And she didn't have to buy groceries and do any cooking. The nursing staff at Vivendi took good care of her. My Aunt liked the home-cooked meals and whenever I had the chance to eat along with my Aunt, I enjoyed eating the hot meals too. And they didn't charge me for the meal!
