I have to unfortunately add my voice to those who are dissatisfied with the Whitehorse General Hospital. I've had to go there for care about 3 -4 times over a ten year period and have always felt disrespected and treated like a number. I found the nurses to be arrogant and controlling and when I try to phone to give feedback, there is no understanding or empathy.

While the hospital' 'triage' skills leave a lot of room for improvement, they seem to take the loudest first.. The Doctors I had, and the nurses, were beyond wonderful..i don't know how they do it.. special people..If you're going to be sick..this is the place to be.

Worst health care in the world and doctors treat there patients like there giving them a free hand out when in fact they are paid by all of us more than they are worth. Patients are scared to ask questions due to gettting worse treatment. Unfair and completely unacceptable

BC/AB hospitals are both easily 10 times busier and still offer better care than the WGH in the Yukon. If i could give a half star i would have...
