I cant give less then one star. Here's a snapshot of what you can expect based on my experience. 1. Sales staff at the sales centre wont care to greet you leave alone selling you the house. First impression is the last. 2. Once you sign on the dotted lines, you are done with whatever customer service you had so far if any. Thier sales VP told me that they dropped the price of the exact same model by 14k "to get more people in". They flatley denied price match although they advertised it online. 3. Expect atleast 3 to 5 months of delay in possession because as per thier construction Managers they have issues getting permits from city. I dont know any other builder in city who has issues getting permits.( Thier standard excuse is adverse weather ) 4. All the floors are squeaky after 7 months of possession. Windows have air coming thru as they are not air tight, faucets have fallen apart, water tank is leaky...the list goes on. 5. After 8 months they poured concrete for garage and will be doing landscaping in Fall of 2018.Can you imagine sowing trees snd shrubs in frosty weather. This is because thier Landscaper contractor is busy during summer months doing the real job!!!! 6. Thier sales staff will sell you the condo fees gimmick, that condo fees is paid for 2 years. Its all scam, somewhere in the fine print they mention the increase which sales staff wont explain. The condo fees will be raised after few months of possession and you pay the increased condo fees. 7. Good luck getting hold of thier Management, leave alone the general staff for any complaints. It took 5 phone messages and 4 emails over a period of 3 weeks for thier VP sales to respond. Just take a drive around neighborhood and see how many homes are being fixed by them after the homeowners had issues and took the possession. Save your money and time. Your house will fall apart in 5 years and thier will be no one to address the issues. Read all the reviews about them from East, where they came from. Thier customer service representative tries to come up with excuses for every negative review but facts are facts.

I don't understand why they put trees in houses when their out of season. Just because of that a lot of owner just have to replace them, if you don't believe me go take a look at cityscape way you'll see what I mean. A lot of the trees are dead in front of people's houses or replaced. Why bother giving tree if you guys can't get them in in time/season. You guys are less focused on green. There are less trees go see Savana they have so many trees. They plant them when they should be planted. Edit June 1st: We take care of our plants regularly, you guys planted them during the beginning of October, now tell does that sound right? It’s fall season and your planting it won’t last I know very well about the grass and trees. You guys should know too because you guys are contractors. You guys should stop acting so innocent and step up and do something about it. This is a waste money and time you guys have to spend this money wisely and see if it’s going to work or not. It hurts both sides the owners gets happy that you guys planted the tree but when the tree dies we get no tree you guys have wasted the money. The planting season ends around the middle of September.

2.5 . Customer service was poor. House quality is mediocre. I wont likely buy another house from Mattamy.
