Be careful! I bought a new home from them. I researched them before buying. They looked good. As always the buying process was wonderful. After 2 years in, I brought someone in to add insulation to the attic because the second floor of the home was so cold. He discovered that the insulation was 6 ft high in some spots and there was none in other areas. No wonder the drywall screws were all popping in the ceiling. They even said that was odd during the 1 and 2 year walk throughs. They patched those but they look poor now and will need someone else to fix them again. What surprised me is that I told them that the insulation was blowing out of the eaves during the build. I was told not to worry as it would be dealt with. That cost 1000.00. Then we found water running through our main floor ceiling a couple of weeks ago. It turns out there was a leak in our second floor laundry room that I am still looking for. You would think the drain in the laundry room is designed to drain water away safely in the event of a leak. Nope! I was told it is only for disasters. What that means is up for debate. You would assume a disaster is when you have a flood of water in the laundry room but not so. There is a drain pipe under the drain cover but when you take it off, there is nothing to funnel the water to the drain pipe. I wish I would’ve known it was just for show as I would’ve paid to make it functional during the build. I now need a plumber to fix the problem. It looks like it will be costly to fix and repair the damage. Please check yours ASAP if you built with First Avenue and get it tended to. It will save you a nightmare. In retrospect, I should have had a home inspector go through the home before taking possession. Caveat Emptor: Buyer Beware!

I have worked for multiple builders and out of all of them I can honestly say that First Avenue was by far the most easy going and easy to work with. The owners were hands down the most honest and caring people to work for which made it easy selling their houses. I no longer work for First Ave, but when I decide to build my next home it will for sure be with them!

First Avenue is a great company. Easy to work with and they build a quality product. Willing to work with clients to make the move in experience go smoothly and do their best to accommodate dates. Deficiencies are handled quickly even the most minor are quickly taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend First Ave for a quality built home.

From the time we set eyes on our home, we knew that it was perfect for us. When we met with the First Avenue Properties team we were impressed with their knowledge of the houses they had built and the level of service we received. They show pride in their product and take care of their customers by building a quality product and ensuring satisfaction is provided throughout the entire process. We were treated like their only and most important customer. But it wasn't until after we took occupancy that our impression of First Avenue Properties was truly formed; the staff genuinely cared about any of our concerns and ensured that we were 100% satisfied with our new home. It was pleasurable and easy to deal with their team. First Avenue Properties didn't just build us a house; they made us our home; and we love it!!

I researched builders for over a year before I decided to work with First Avenue Properties and I am very happy with my decision. They helped me make my home what I needed it to be for my family, hassle free. I have been in my home for 9 months now and still feel like First Avenue is a good friend I can count on.
