Very grateful to have picked up our first home from Akash! Jon and Ken were the first ones there to welcome us and were pleasant to talk with. They both shared their expertise and honest knowledge accurately. No corners were cut with regards to building materials or information about the house which helped us make an informed and educated decision. Thinking of buying, please read! This is not at all a quality builder or professional company. I've been trying to help my elderly mother in law with her Akash home purchase and all of my phone calls have gone straight to voicemail with not one call returned from their office. I am in the trades as an Electrician so I've been around construction for some time. I can assure you what I see in this home is absolutely unacceptable craftmanship on Akash and their contractors. I was present during the initial walkthrough in South West Edmonton and couldn't believe what this company turned over to a paying customer. Akash homes should be ashamed of their work and what they turn over to clients. Obviously the owner is into making a fast and easy buck of unsuspecting clients. Worse on their reviews a bunch of Realtors have given them 5 stars. That's insane when it's basically claiming a commission to sell and not themselves having to live in the home. The way I see it they sit at 2 stars TOPS! I'll be adding more pictures when I have a chance to this review to make everyone aware of the shady craftmanship that I found at the home. Recently I wondered why the return vent was so loose and the baseboard was not flush. Baseboard, well that's just a lazy contractor/builder that doesn't care about their client. Obviously they do a very bad walkthrough before they turn the home over. When I removed the return main floor vent cover I realized they cut the hole too big. Instead of doing a proper fix they affixed two blocks of wood, one on each side with one single screw. That means that the vent screw is simply sandwiched between the pieces. Totally unacceptable in my opinion. Makes you wonder what else is hidden. The electrical in the house is a mess. They must have used the cheapest company in town. Crooked everything when it comes to switched and receptacles. Some so bad I can't even fix without opening the walls to replace the boxes installed. They tried to tell my mother in law they fixed some cracked siding. Instead they moved a balcony board on the rail right up against the crack to cover the damage and told her it was replaced. If they lie about small fixes like that be warned. Like many other posts I think you will have nothing but regret if you buy from this builder. I love the builder to reach out to me so I can finally talk with them about my distastes with the treatment my mother in law has had as a customer and my frustration with the warranty service. If you do buy or read this after you accidentally bought. Document everything with the builder. Make sure all communication is in writing. YOU"VE BEEN WARNED!!!

My family had the pleasure of working with Akash Homes on a brand new home and I cannot recommend them highly enough! I take great pride and care with my clients, and I expect the same when I bring them to show homes. Akash Homes, EVERY TIME, makes sure myself and my clients are handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. Most recently, I had the opportunity to work with Marianne in Crystallina with some first-time buyer clients of mine. Marianne was AMAZING! She went through every detail with them and made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything. She walked the site with us, showed us what we could expect and answered all of our questions. Akash Homes did meet my expectations. After months of shopping around for my first home, Kevin with Akash managed to convince me on going with them as they were comparably the cheapest option available. I was surprised with the excellent professionalism and work done by Akash. Upon all the craziness in the housing market and supply issues during the early part of 2022, Akash Homes managed to finish my home and I appreciate the job done. This is my first home and Akash made it a wonderful experience, so far no problems with my home 😊.
