My husband and I built our home with Chris at Riverview Custom Homes and we can honestly say that it was a pleasure to work with him and his his crew, and to see what we envisioned become a reality. They were professional, trustworthy, and very skilled at their crafts and were great to collaborate with. If we build another home in Calgary it will definitely be with Riverview again! We recommend Riverview to our friends, family, and acquaintances, and we will continue to do so!

Chris York and his team at Riverview built a custom home for us in Rosedale, NW Calgary, and I must say we are very pleased with the outcome. Costs were within 3% of budget, and the variance was mostly due upgrades that I subsequently requested. Time wise, we were spot on. What I appreciated most through out the build was the responsiveness and overall honesty and professional approach. Not being knowledgeable about construction, it was important for me to have someone I could trust, and I always felt that I got clear and straight answers. As such, I am confident in recommending Chris York and his team at Riverview.

Chris has been a true pleasure to work with over the past year. His quotes are accurate and timelines met. I was impressed with each and every trade working with Chris, for not only their ability, but their professionalism. Attention to detail is apparent; Chris is satisfied with nothing short of perfection and it is readily apparent that as a company, Riverview takes great pride in the quality of work they produce. Communication is constant and easy. Over the past few years Riverview Custom Homes has put their stamp on cutting edge architecture/building in the city, and while my build was substantially less "glamorous", Chris and his trades always made us feel like we were their first priority. We could not be happier with the experience and end result. If you are thinking about building you owe it to yourself to interview Chris and see first hand what his company has to offer.

I met the owner of Riverview, Chris, in one of his show homes in the NW. I can honestly say it is the nicest custom home I've ever seen! I've been in a lot of homes and if I had the money, I'd buy this home in a second. It was simply unreal. I am totally confident that if you are looking for a custom home builder in Calgary then you need to see Riverview Custom Homes.

Two Alberta rivers converged and invaded our home in the Flood of 2013, filling our basement and soaking our main floor. Chris took on this emotionally-loaded renovation with respect and energy. He created a home for us, within our budget, which reflected our need to mitigate against future floods as well as use reclaimed materials with meaning and history. He and his team’s full-transparency, ethical management, constant communication and humour, responsiveness, and creative sourcing and flexibility turned a nightmare into a dream home.
