Our family is currently in the process of building our third home with Shane Homes and we couldn't be happier! Our experiences with Shane Homes has been nothing short of amazing. From our first initial meeting with Jeff and Derek at the Nolan Hill show home, Marion at the design center and everyone involved in the construction process, our expectations have been surpassed. The service and quality of their staff and trades are second to none. We built our first Shane Home in 2003 and now, in 2015, with our third home under construction, we couldn't imagine building with any other home builder. Throughout the years, our family has grown and Shane Homes has always been able to accommodate the needs of our family. It was important for us to have the ability to customize our home to suit our family of six. The expertise accompanied by the patience of everyone involved throughout the design process has been greatly appreciated and it really shows that Shane Homes really does go out of their way for their customers. We can't thank Shane Homes enough for what they have done for our family and we would most definitely recommend Shane Homes to anyone looking for a great quality home builder. Thank you Shane Homes!

From the time we purchased our new townhouse until we took possession, we found all the staff and sales people at Shane Homes to be very helpful. They answered all our questions & didn't mind when we came to them to request a couple of changes. Thank you to everyone for bringing our dream home into reality. Kudos to the sales staff, design center staff, and tradespeople. We would recommend Shane Homes to family & friends. We love our new home. Donna Roode

Our home building experience with Shane Homes in Legacy has been an overall positive experience. There have been ups and downs, but we are satisfied with the service and product we have received and would recommend Shane Homes to others. Shane Homes was very open to adjusting and changing the floor plans and options to help us get the perfect home for us. There were a few changes we wish the sales team understood more thoroughly or understood what the ramifications of those changes would be so that they could have advised us more fully of potential issues. My advise to others to avoid this kind of situation, is to not let the sales team rush you through the drawing check stage, and to not sign off the final drawings until they exactly match what you are asking for. The sales team will tell you that your possession date will be impacted, but at least you won't have to worry about any serious issues coming up during the build phase, when it is typically too late to address any un-implemented changes. Through out our build phase Shane Homes was still very responsive to addressing the few short comings we saw during our visits. One thing Shane Homes can improve on is getting better quality and service out of their sub-contractors, specifically the cabinet makers and appliance suppliers and their after-sales support. The cabinets had several workmanship issues and the quality of service from the appliance supplier has been abysmal, not only did they deliver the wrong washer and dryer, they couldn't follow simple colour coordination to hook up the hot water tap to the hot water inlet on the washing machine. As for after-sales support, the service is okay but there is room for improvement. All in all it has still been a great experience building our first home with Shane Homes, and would consider building with them again in the future.

My fiance' and I had a great experience with Shane Homes. We started the build in May of 2014, and took possession in May of 2015. We loved the design and value of the show home we saw in Nolan Hill, and our Area Manager (Dave Gearey) was the only one we found in NW Calgary that was open to taking on a LEGAL basement suite as part of the development. Our design centre visits were also top notch, neither of us were very confident during the design process, but Marion held our hands through it and ensured we had a final result that should look great for years to come. Now that we are in the home, we couldn't be happier with the end result, a few minor deficiencies were noted at possession, but they were addressed in a timely fashion. Would recommend to anyone building in NW Calgary.
