I purchased my first home with DS Homes and I couldn't be happier! Being a first time homebuyer, my list of questions was a mile long and the Managing Director (daughter of DS Homes) walked me through the entire process from start to finish while answering all my questions with great detail and patience. I purchased the show home and the quality and workmanship was OUTSTANDING! This builder 100% stands by their slogan "Quality of Life with Quality Homes!" I will be back in a few years to upsize and DS Homes is definitely going to be my builder! Make sure you check them out.. you don't want to miss out on purchasing a quality built home!!

We built in 2017 with DS Homes. Overall interior quality was pretty good. Dealing with the owners daughter was painful , as all she was concerned about was nickel and diming for every little thing but yet they gave zero credit when we took things off. They call themselves custom however the only custom is the 6 selections on their selection board for colors and items. Attention to detail wasn't their, as they put the wrong color on the exterior and had to change it. When we took possession the exterior was dirty and the roofing was caked with mud and was not cleaned after complaining. It never felt like we were moving into a brand new 600,000 home. Overall I felt that this builder is really just concerned about building a house as quick as possible, making the sale and not caring about the client. There are still come outstanding issues with this builder. I would avoid them if I had the choice again.

We love our first house but if you think service comes once you receive your keys good luck we have had numerous plumbing issues and our tub has been apart for 2 weeks with many promises of the plumbers return and still nothing and to many other problems to list.

Run away while you can! Beautiful designs but absolutely abysmal customer service. The owners daughter is the rudest human being I have come across. After buying a $700k show home, it was issues galore. Leaking furnace, cracked granite, kitchen cabinets falling apart, creeky staircase, flaky paint, electrical and cable sockets missing wires, hvac problems and more. My neighbour's siding rips apart anytime there is strong wind. Same builder! Do not buy a home from this company!! They have rebranded to fleece more customers so beware!

31/2 - 4 years later on a home built by DS Homes and our sidings are ripped off by 2 windstorm on both sides . Wish I could post the photos. It's been nothing but internal plumbing issues and leaky sky light. This company should be designing but not building homes. It's been poor workmanship.
