Could not be more happy with the whole process. Keep it up Ann, Chris, Phil and Dean. You have made the entire process simply incredible. Minor deficiencies where resolved in a very timely and professional manor. KEEP UP THE WINNING ATTITUDE!

Nice houses but too much focus on the glittery details and not enough focus on the bones. Multiple houses have had spray foam issues where the rim joist cavity's foam fails to reach the top plate of the basement walls. This leads to huge issues of condensation and ice on basement foundation walls that then melts onto the floor and causes severe damage and mold. They are far too reluctant to fix this considering it fails Building Code and that's not acceptable.

Amazing homes. So beautiful the Brentworth 2-Storey and Wentworth Bungalow Wow!! Staff are great, helpful and will honestly help you add best value - e.g very honest advice where to add and where to save. The community has large lots, beautiful mountain views, and pathways to the water and ball diamond. Neighbours outside on their front lawns/ driveways talking and the kids laughing is the soundtrack of the neighbourhood :). A really beautiful family spot.

They have a couple of showhomes for the Mountainview area where they build along side with Sterling Homes. Sales staff were friendly and personable even though we were just walking through the homes. Neighbourhood has been around for a couple of years now and it seems to have a nice family orientated feeling.

Excel Homes has been a nightmare to deal with. They lie to do whatever they can to get your money, and then deliver terrible quality product. When our possession date came, the house wasn't finished and ready. We gave them extra time to finish and when we moved in there were a LOT of deficiencies. They have been in our house every week for 8 months, over 40 visits to fix their errors. At this point they are fixing fixes of fixes. They fired their building manager, we had complained he was incompetent, and he was. Now we are dealing with trying to get everything fixed. They built the front of our house wrong, and have ripped it off to fix it, and have left it there with no eavestroughs or proper drainage, and painting not done. They built our ensuite toilet door into the structure of the shower, and had to move the door over so the condensation of the shower wouldn't wreck the door (literally cut the shower tile around the door frame, instead of installing the door in the correct spot). There was no second coat of paint, the island wobbles, the carpet lay is terrible and was literally cut in patches when we took possession. At this point, after 8 months of fixes, the painting looks like a patch quilt, the shower has chipped tiles, different colour grout, different colour caulking, dented walls, holes in the walls, the front of my house is still missing.... I have talked to the Excel customer support and have escalated my concerns to the VP of Sales Simon Kowalko, and they both agree that this is acceptable. They have offered a $1500 landscaping credit to make me feel better. But this credit wouln't cover 1/20th of the fixes we still require in our house. This experience has been a nightmare. The building managers can't seem to book an appointment or keep an appointment, as they are always late, don't show up, things take 4x as long as they tell me. I'm sick of their lies and deceit. Michelle Rogers who is the customer care manager is trying to sweep this under the rug, saying all this is normal and part of their "company mission to make things right", but neither of these people have been to our house and seen the damage that has been done. This is not making things right. We paid for upgrades to a showhome quality house, and already; all our granite was replaced as every piece was chipped, the ensuite tub was chipped so they just filled the chips, they replaced the carpet on the stairs as it was laid like mosaic tile with actual pieces cut out, or not even attached, most of our cabinets were replaced due to chips, painters have been here over 10 times making patchy fixes as they refused to paint our whole house a second coat, our stove has scratches, our island wobbles and shakes whenever you take a step, when you walk down the stairs you will fall as they are too narrow, when you walk up the stairs you will get the carpet staples into your feet on every step, none of the closet doors close as the magnets dont work, etc etc etc THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.
