I love my home. It is very comfortable and quite. A few cosmetic issues and concerns were dealt within a reasonable time frame. The Freeport Staff are friendly and the actual Freeport product is very good. A great community environment, neighbours are very friendly, and the grounds are well maintained. Kim the Resident Deficiency Expert does an excellent job but needs the right type of people to assist her in making this complex a better one. Completion date delays seem to be a norm. Freeport needs to address this. The majority of problems lie with the sub trades they hire. Freeport needs to do a better job screening new trade staff to ensure they are qualified to do the work properly. Also a Quality Manager/Inspector should be in place to check each phase of the build to ensure everything is done correctly before continuing on to the next level. The most cost effective way is to do the job "right the first time".

In January 2018 our beautiful Freeport home was delivered. It is beautiful, we absolutely love it. Freeport was a delight to deal with. Everyone from front office to sales to engineering and set up. We did have a few minor problems, as with any newly built home. They promptly took care of them. We had a wonderful experience dealing with such a professional company. When people view our home they can’t believe the quality and how well the available space has been used utilized. It was also great that Freeport had a great team to put our home together. They were very professional, courteous and friendly. As far as we are concerned, our house is the best quality. We would recommend Freeport to anyone that is going to have a modular style home built.

Thanks Kim for getting our deficiencies done. Just one more left to do. Thanks to Kevin who did an awesome job of finishing the work. Would suggest a Quality Control person checking on the trades when they are done and have them redo things if they didn’t do a proper job. There might not be so many deficiencies in the end. The houses should be completed before moving in. We had no problem but houses after us, were not completely done before moving in and see why these people are upset. On our part, we are very happy with our home and the Community we live in.

We are very happy with our Freeport Home. Our deficiency list was compiled over a few months and Freeport staff addressed all issues. All deficiencies were basically cosmetic, nothing urgent. There were times when we waited for a tradesman but we understand when a community is growing this fast there is only so much labour available. Our dealings with Freeport staff has always been very pleasant. It is a great community and we have recommended it to friends and family.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR HOME, WE HAD SOME PROBLEMS BUT THEY WERE ALL FIXED. I THINK THEY SHOULD HIRE A QUALITY CONTROL PERSON TO INSPECT WORK DONE, IT WOULD SAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT COMMUNITY, THE COMMON AREAS ARE ALL WELL KEPT AND MAINTAINED.
