My wife and I visited the Discovery Show Home in the new St. Adolphe, Mb. development and toured the house with Julie, the representative on site. We were both impressed with the build quality and attention to design and detail that was evident throughout the home such as the smart kitchen lay-out, the built-in walnut window bench with storage, the sharp walnut light fixtures, and the rich exterior touches. We particularly impressed with the abundance of natural light throughout the living area.

If I could describe Discovery Homes in a phrase it would be, attention to detail. As a finish worker/contractor it’s no wonder that Discovery Homes continues to take home Gold awards at parade of homes. Haters will always hate but the proof is in the pudding. These guys are winners. I’ve had a lovely experience with Discovery Homes staff and I hope to have more in the future.

It was a long process (started in mid 2016!) but we are ultimately very happy with our custom built home which we took possession at the end of 2017/start 2018. Excellent value for all the features we had in this custom house, and we have so many positive comments on our home. Some post-possession items can take a while to finish up (ie. Exterior or fixups) , which is why we gave 4 stars. All in all, a very flexible custom home builder that gives good value...just gotta be patient.

Discovery built our home in 2016 and we couldn't have picked a better builder. If you guys are looking for a true custom home that is built with quality, then Discovery is the builder for you. They will design and build you your dream home. Other builders (the cookie cutter ones especially) will charge you an arm and a leg to change their designs to your liking. Discovery will do that without any additional charges. Also, you will notice that there is a lot of extras included in their base prices that are not usually include with the other builders like steel beam construction (my basement in a 2200 sqf house doesn't having any vertical posts), higher then normal ceiling heights and many more. Also, don't expect them to do a rushed job. The other guys will build you a house in a few months, these guys will build it over a longer period of time but they will really put the quality and the workmanship into your home. When the time comes to pick your flooring, exterior and interior colours, cabinetry, etc, Discovery will send you to different vendors one area at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. You don't just do everything all in one day and in one place like the other guys. As well, once the foundation is poured and the walls and roof is up, Discovery will give you a set of keys so you can even check on your house after hours to make sure that everything is up to your liking. How awesome is that? Other builders will not do this. If you have a concern, just give them a call and they will address it even after the house is built. They are truly a great builder and if you decide to go with them, you will not have any regrets. Thank you Discovery homes for building our dream home.
