We purchased a townhouse unit from countrywide in 2016, and it was rented out till recently. Once we took it back, we found the gas bill is too high. We looked into it, and found there is water heater rental $48 per month. But it is not the most ridiculous thing. So we called Cricket Home Comfort to ask about rental termination. We were told we have to pay more than $2,000 to terminate the rental agreement. The most expensive water heater in Homedepot is around $1,000. Countrywide, Did your lawyer review the rental agreement before you provide it to the home buyer! Did your sales person explain it to the home buyer before they signed the contract?

This company is not doing what they have promised as high level service. Lack of communication and cause all home owners got parking tickets as they have instructed how to park our vehicles during they are putting sidewalks. At the end, just post a notice states that is not something they can help or responsible for. I don't think this company knows how to communicate and not talking about ignoring customer emails. Very disappointed to them, I don't think I bought a new home, just feel like got caught in the trap. Don't ever buy from this builder.

Poor quality and Terrible workmanship. I regret my decision buying one from them. Everything they have done is mere formality when it comes to work quality. They have shortcomings in the work everywhere and certainly not ignorable. Won’t recommend this builder to anyone. Poor service. I had a big crack in the concrete that I found during frame walk and reported to the site engineer but I couldn’t have been ignored more. Living with a patch work now that too just a formality to cover them from Tarion. Don’t go with them if you seek perfect and quality work. Edit: the roof leaked in 4 months.

It is the worst builder we have ever met. It is the worst builder we have ever met. Nothing is up to snuff. They use the lowest quality of materials, even a simple powder room wall enclosure is not square. Main bathroom entry door is not met at right angle, it is slanted, and conflict against the shower room door. Main bathroom shower stall walls has two side did not come down to meet the floor. It makes Calking very difficult. I refrain to say F words. Roof leaked and found out that they just met the bare minimum of shingles required specified in the building code. Grading deposit refund dragged on for 10 years still claims that their development has not been assumed by the City. Room doors of some are too small and one need to shim the metal plate much to enable latch work. All hard wood floors squeaks Because they did not nail the bottoms of stairs with proper nails. Builder like this; the first woodpecker would destroy the civilization.

Horrible build they do not finish there work. Been 6 weeks without a driveway in the mud where I have actually fallen at 9 months pregnant. They keep saying they will come out and fix it and don't. Have had construction for 3 weeks fixing the back area for sod. Super loud and they are just doing the same thing over and over. Window is broken promised to fix it and have not. Our line to our a.c is broken was suppose to get a call for someone to fix it and have not. Honestly do not buy or rent a country wide home
