We enjoyed the process of building our Stonewater home. They we're very open to allowing customize our home plan to give us the best home for our family and the end result is a truly beautiful home.

No surprise that the positive reviews are from residents of Bedford. Try talking to the homeowners in Governor's Brook and you'll get a different story. Not naming names, but the customer service from one particular person (the only contact of Stonewater after you move in) is horrible to deal with. Will argue you on everything!!! The customer is always right except when you work for Stonewater. We had many deficiencies from the start. Expect strange smells from your taps...drains that have debris and other items pushed down them (the bathroom shower was fun), bad paint jobs, nics in the hardwood flooring they will deny that they did, weird electrical sounds coming from the switches, siding issues, incomplete/shoddy landscaping, roof issues....that's just to name a few and months before they come back to fix anything. We still have many items outstanding. What was supposed to be the most exciting time for us...thinking we were going to get a nice brand new home, ended up being the worst experience. I'm always hopeful the new batch of neighbors will have a better experience but it is always the same problems and I think to myself "just you wait". It is my personal goal to not recommend this builder to as many people as possible. They have gotten too busy with other projects to care. I have no restoration or faith left...don't @ me, I said what I said...talk to you after a year.

My wife and I had the pleasure of building our first home with Stonewater Homes. Going into the build we were completely unfamiliar with the whole process but were guided every step of the way by their project manager and sales team. Our house was finished a week early and we could not have been happier with the product. Any minor details identified at the pre-close walkthrough were addressed right away. When the day comes to build another new home we will be using Stonewater Homes again.

Strange, all people in Bedford are satisfied with the building experience, looks like that’s not the case in Governor‘s Brook at all. The workmanship/quality of work around the house is extremely poor, ranging from paint job, hardwood stairs, flooring, deck, service etc. One would think that the builder would have contacted us for the promised one year follow-up inspection to fix outstanding deficiencies, crickets. The entire process was less than dissatisfying, anything that needed follow-up was customer initiated and had to be requested multiple times, like pulling teeth. I won’t be building with Stonewater again.

We are so thrilled with the purchase of our Stonewater home! We happened upon our home when it was 98% complete but I would have chosen the same finishes had we been involved in the building process. The layout is both functional and beautiful. All of our dealings with the company since the original purchase have been positive and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them!
