Landscaping of three joined yards were deemed unacceptable and ankle dangerous by the owners (Reported in fall of 2021/spring 2022 to Cresco). The lawns are not even close to acceptable industry landscaping standards. Reports were filed with Cresco with a magnitude of the substandard installation proof provided by us the owners. Other landscaping companies were contacted to evaluate the lawns and offer opinions for the required repairs necessary. They provide estimates on their evaluation of the repairs necessary to bring the poor installation to a bare minimum standard installation. Which we were willing to accept. Cresco’s head of construction only offered deflection and zero accountability of the issues. He did offer a token $1000 for all three yards, laughable actually. With the most unprofessional written responses I have witnessed in 40 years in the construction industry. The company boss even went as far as to make up wildly imaginative excuses for the state of the lawns. The (unprofessional) individual even tried to shift blame for the state of the sodding on the owners. The planted trees also did not last a year and again no response or solution offered by the Cresco boss man. Lowest quote we received to bring our three lawns to a bare minimum acceptable level will be far less than their court costs will likely be. But courts seem to be acceptable to them (not customer satisfaction) unbelievable actually. If you want customer satisfaction on your next home buyer beware, that’s the only advise we can offer you. For us It will be in the hands of the courts I guess for a solution on our landscaping woes. PS issues inside also but not worth the fight. Cheers

Purchased a new townhome in Bedford West, Nova Scotia and there has been a multitude of problems. Crestco has responded to most of them eventually in their own time at their own convenience except they still summarily and flatly deny any responsibility for the shoddy landscaping job done on the property which is substantial not only for my home but two others adjoining owners. Their overall response has been arrogant and disingenuous. Another issue was the ‘switch and bait’ as it relates to the trim on my home. When we entered the contract the trim we represented as going to be being black in colour and they unilaterally switched it to the less expensive white. I can only presume near the end of construction they were more interested in cutting corners which seemed to flow over to the substandard landscaping they had installed and provided. Be very careful when dealing with this company especially when they control everything from beginning to end.
