Choosing a builder in today's hot housing market is not easy. Everyone has horror stories to scare you away, and many builders are out of lots. We went with Capital Homes at the New Hamburg site, and could not be happier with the quality of our home. Like every builder, Capital Homes faces the challenges of trades shortages and material supplier issues, but Damian and Danielle went the extra mile to make sure this had no significant impact to us. They also constantly kept us updated and informed of the progress. Capital Homes really strives to work with each customer to turn the "house" into a "home", by allowing customization of just about anything (at very reasonable prices). These are not cookie cutter houses build in mass production style, these are tailored to each family's needs. You do not get this type of treatment unless you are in the $$multi-millions with the large builders. The end result has quality and finishes beyond expectation. Thank you for turning our vision into our Home. Buy with confidence.

I did a LOT of research before purchasing my home. I even asked friends who are trades in the area and they agreed that Capital Homes is one of the top builders in the area. Quality, energy efficiency, nice layouts and finishes were the most important factors for me. I have been in my house for a year now and I am so so happy with my decision! I get so many comments from friends about the finishes and workmanship (which to them stands out compared to their homes that they bought from big builders in their cities). Service items within the year were all efficiently completed on time, and nicely done - easy process. Sales staff were helpful and answered any questions I had (although I did my research and was up to speed on most things). Overall it was a smooth process for me, and the house exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier with my home!

I recently purchased a brand new Capital Home in New Hamburg. I would like to share my experience as I have purchased several homes in Ontario before but have never before had a builder who actually cared about the customer or their homes. Capital Homes has gone above and beyond in creating a beautiful home and pleasant home buying experience. I am very pleased with my new home. Thank you to everyone involved!

I decided to purchase with Capital Homes because of the level of customer care, quality and number of available upgrades and positive feedback from customers! There were a few very minor items to be serviced which were taken care of promptly - the service, sales and production team is wonderful to work with! i would highly recommend this builder to family and friends!

I purchased a house from Capital Homes back in June. I did lots of research and saw good reviews about CH so I chose to go with them. The buying experience was great and they did a walkthrough to make sure everything is how you like it. It wasn't until the house closed and I moved in that I realized some of the problems. 1) Water heater wasn't working. When I contacted Matt it took 4 days to get a call back and then another 3 weeks for the contractors to come back and fix it. 2) Our house was left quite dirty (after it closed) with bricks scattered around the lot, muddy basement windows and no metal covers around the windows. The window sills and vents were dirty, along with the upstairs bathroom cabinets. 3) Wet insulation in the basement! I've seen other people talk about this from CH and I'm not sure what or why this is. I had to remove some of the insulation myself and reseal the plastic (I thought this stuff was supposed to be done!!) 4) Lastly was SCRATCHES IN THE HARDWOOD! There is 4 distinct scratches (2 them at least one inch long)... I contacted CH about it but am yet to receive a response. Overall I would NOT recommend Capital Homes because of the various problems I've encountered since moving in.
