One of the first buyer of a condo built by DeSantis. Many deficiencies and quality issues. Not being addressed. Cheap materials and workmanship. Would never recommend.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022: I've spoken to 3 staffs (manager, director and executive assistant) regarding my concerns. No longer returning my calls or emails. Ive asked them on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS to set up a meeting my spouse and I or a phone conference. Nothing. So unprofessional and negligent. They have made false claims about the incident to cover their mistakes and are choosing to not be accountable for their actions. Customer service reps (if you know, you know) do a very poor job with following up on pending items and calling back with answers. A year later and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!!!! ________________________________ Purchased and closed our first home at Aquazul in Grimsby. Thus far, the experience has been terrible. I had to chase down the customer service rep to book my PDI in time before my closing (done 1 day before). PDI was very disorganized and a total mess. Had to come in last minute for reselection of discontinued products and reselection process was done terribly. Lack of integrity and negligence on new Decor manager. Don't get me started with customer service rep who says 'they understand and empathize' but they really don't. People are spending so much money on these 'luxury homes' and yet we get treated like 'oh well, take it up with tarion'. As a first time buyer, this has been an absolute terrible experience. After trying to communicate email after email and follow up after follow up re: my concerns and lack of accountability on their part, their response is 'too bad, deal with it.' Extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience and DeSantis Homes staff. So so so disappointed.

Kandace and her customer care team techs came today and followed up and performed outstanding items on our tarion list today. They did a great job and were able to fix all of the things we had remaining on our list. The techs are amazing, professional, and certainly know their stuff. Pleasure working with this department.

I noticed my floor boards in my bedroom are lifting, my bed and dresser are sinking and there is a significant amount of black mould growing through my baseboards (my condo is 7 months old). Clearly water is coming from somewhere. I called desantis and got someone to take a look. I was told I would receive a call later that day (this was Thursday) to schedule time for the contractors to replace my drywall, floor and baseboards in my bedroom (to top it off I’d have to take 3-4 days off work). I did not receive a call. Friday I called the office and left a message, I did not receive a call back. On Tuesday I called the office again and left a message, I Still have not received a call back. I’m not sure when exposed black mould becomes a health and safety issue, but either way they do not seem to care.
