I was recently renting a property from a landlord and was looking to finally purchase a new home. I saw through my agent that Dawn Victoria had a new development being built in Waterdown and jumped on it! So far, the process has been smooth and professional. The lady I spoke to at Dawn Victoria about upgrades and features was polite and very helpful. I would highly recommend this builder to anyone for their care and attention to detail!

I purchased a townhome from Dawn Victoria Homes and could not be happier. The whole buying process was very easy from start to finish. The agents were very helpful and answered all my questions. I was really impressed with the selection at the Design Centre and was able to get what I wanted. The guys on site were great too and addressed any issue that I had. I would definitely purchase from this builder again.

Dawn Victoria Homes is a quality builder. Makes sure you are taken care of from start to finish. Customer service is top notch, the rep Karen is a delight to deal with. Would recommend to anyone purchasing in the area.

We have built several new homes before building with dawn victoria Ancaster site. In the beginning, it was great. Dealt with the owner. Seemed like a straight shooter. Instead of " DREAM HOME" experience, We experienced God Awful Nightmare Stressful experience. Our troubles began just before we moved in. We lived about 2 blocks away & had a chance to see the progress of our new home being built. We had to remind the builder several small things they forgot to install or changes they did not make. No frame walk. Our new home PDI was done the day before moved in. That was a Huge alarm. Moved into a dirty new home. After contacting the City of Hamilton by law office, we shouldn't even have moved in. Don't know how they got the city to approve/pass the permit for us to move in. You learn very quickly how POOR their customers service is. Poor, I mean, very poor quality workmanship. Home builders daughter looks after fix ups. I still have her email saying, " thank you for cancelling Tarion inspection. I give you my fathers & my word, everything will be fixed" WOW!!! Did I ever fall for that Lie. She knows exactly what the Tarion guide lines are. Will use every excuse in the book. Make sure they don't spend a dime more than what they have to. If she is willing to tarnish her fathers name like this, she is capable of anything. Wow!! How do you not care about your own fathers name? It's your family's name!! Please watch out for Karyn. Please don't be trusting like us. Make sure everything is written down. Make sure you take pictures. Don't expect your fix ups to be more than mediocre fix ups. Did I mention god awful workmanship. Tarion coverage wasn't all that much help either. Their standards are pretty pathetic if you ask me. Here are some of fix ups builders don't have to look after. -master bedroom has major sqeakie floors from day one. -two bedrooms have holes in the floor, big enough to fit a tennis ball -every window is not caulked probably. -half of kitchen cabinets are cracked & have chips. -lot of molding around the house have dents & not filled properly. -awful paint job. -got talked into. Somehow I agreed to, builder doesn't have to come back to stain our stairs. .....................list goes on. It is so sad how builder like this stays in business. Taking advantage of people. I can assure you, if you talk to any home owners in Ancaster site, you won't find one home owner, who has anythin nice to say about this home builder. They should attend home building school of Mattamy Homes. How to build. Most importantly, how to look after customers. I can go on & on & on. However, please take it from me, DO NOT BUILD ANYTHING WITH THIS BUILDER. You do not want to experience stress & time off from work like we have. On the other note, Tarion doesn't cover much. City approval for a permit can be approved, even if it should NOT be approved. What a very expensive AWFUL experience we had to go through. Please stay away from this builder. They just don't care.
