In Windsor the sod is still not laid at phase 1 which was completed over 2 years ago and the backyard is not even graded properly. The development looks like a wasteland. The roads are always a mess & one of the brothers loves to stir up huge clouds of dust speeding around in his truck. Never get a notice when outside work will be done on the units like the driveway ( which took almost 2 years to get laid). My impression is that they are more interested in profit than customer satisfaction otherwise they would subcontract some of the work. I don’t think Toronto would stand for it but Windsor is, well,.... Windsor.

We recently purchased a Seiko home last August here in Corunna, ON. Through the winter, we have come to realize that many of the windows are sweating profusely and 3 other Seiko homes on the street are dealing with the same issue (one of the houses front window cracked completely in mid-winter). We reached out to the builder's and they put us in touch with the window company which was Newco Building Supplies (have left a google review there as well). After a few months of being tossed around by builders, window people, etc we finally spoke with someone who was absolutely unprofessional. (see the review for further details). We went back to the builder's and again no one was responding, until however, our persistence caused them to respond and asked us to contact Daniel at Seiko after 1pm today. I just got off the phone with Dan who advised that after many many issues with Newco windows, they dropped them a few years back and due to this, there is nothing they can do. I expressed how we are still in the 10 year warranty, however, Newco I guess is the only company these days not offering either lifetime and/or transferable warranties. Due to these facts, Dan stated he felt bad and wished there was something he could do, however, he cannot. If he still used Newco, he would force them to fix it, but he simply can't do that due to the fact of no longer using them. I gave the review 2 stars because, to be fair, Dan was cordial and kind and stated what we wanted to hear, however, it's always my opinion that there is ALWAYS something you can do. As the builder of multiple homes that have had/are having major issues with one of the most expensive items in a home, your windows, I believe that they certainly could offer some form of assistance or help with their homes. The company that does, sure, as he stated, sets a precedence, however, I see that as a precedence that these people are the best to build with BEACUSE of their willingness to make things right. It's unfortunate that Seiko believes otherwise and sees it as a bottom line problem vs the word that would spread about them coming to bat for the homes they build, regardless as to whether or not the real culprit, Newco Building Supplies, does or does not. It was a pleasant experience ONCE we got ahold of someone from Seiko, but still very disappointed that they are willing to do absolutely nothing to stand by their products long-term.

Drives like an idiot running stop signs in busy parking lots almost hitting pedestrians with the right of way.
