It's unfortunate that these builders can get away with the things they do. You would think that the Tarion Warranty would protect the homeowners, but it seems that it protects the builder more than the homeowner. Like many of the other reviewers and neighbors on my street, none are satisfied with their home care customer service. Once the builders has your money; good luck on getting the MANY unfinished items completed in your home. We are 5 months in our home, and we are still waiting on many items to be completed without an expected completion date. Their home care customer service team does not answer promptly, return phone calls, give dates of when to expect items to be finished or even started. Save yourself the headache and avoid buying from them. They are a disorganized company who's only interest is to take your money.

This has been a bad experience from the beginning, first their sales team did not disclose all the things that are on our lot, we only knew of the Hydrant, but after signing found that we were to have a light standard and no one disclosed the telephone box. There were a lot of mistakes by the design team and we had to go in twice to choose different tiles and vanity tops, I get things go out of stock or are discontinued but even after we made our new selections, they called to say we needed to pick these out again because the staff member hadn't updated our file. Following this, we had 3 delays and had to close on an unfinished house, which we could not move in to because our kitchen had no running water. 4 months later and our house is still not complete. Most of the staff we have met have been very polite, but that doesn't make up for the experience we have had to date.

If I could give them zero I would. There is no good reason why I would suggest purchasing a house from them. They are disorganized and full of excuses. If you want a house built to YOUR standard look elsewhere. You will not find it here. The paperpushers don't do their work on time and you are left with errors that they refuse to fix. Yet! They still want you to sign on the dotted line, because with any good company that has intentions to screw you over and walk away with their money the contract has every loophole you could think of. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE....

Worst builder i ever seen. Poor customer service. They don't finish the house construction on time but they will ask you to move in. They didn't do final construction clean inside home. Out side electric outlet handing out from wall. They always got answer for their mistakes. I would never recommend anyone to but house from Phelps.
