My hearing has been an issue for almost a decade. I had surgery which corrected the problem for several years but it is clear that the only practical solution at this point, is hearing aids. I booked an appointment with Mike and was really happy that I did. We had a good discussion about my hearing loss, when it is most problematic and what my needs might look like in the future. That was followed by a standard hearing test. I've had lots of these and this one was the most fun of all of them. Mike is a personal guy, knowledgeable and never put any pressure on me to buy anything. He showed me the full array of hearing aids and explained pros and cons like repair-ability and blue tooth compatibility. He even provided me with a pair to try for a couple of weeks. I opted for a standard pair for now that I can afford to fix, should anything happen to them. I am going to start saving for the next-gen pair that I can control with my phone. Maybe they'll fit my budget in five years. Regardless, I will go back to see Mike for sure, next time.
