Rockwell helped me complete a WCB claim for noisy-related hearing loss due to my years on the job and now I have the most skookum hearing aids - free! Tosha's the Best ;-)

I have now been enjoying the services of Rockwell Audiology for more than a year. I suffer from noise-induced hearing loss as a result of 35+ years of Boilermaking and some years spent working on the railroad previous to that. Tosha has been more than accommodating, helping me with advice on how to apply for Workers' Compensation (hearing aids are not cheap and only last a few years!). She took the time from her busy schedule to check over my forms for correctness and accuracy (73 employers to list with noise-exposure details!) as well as administer (to date) two very thorough hearing tests. Thank you Tosha, I really appreciate all you've done - much of it above and beyond too.

So if you have poor hearing, and like me haven't gone for a test before, you may also be a little embarrassed. It sucks not being able to hear what people are saying around and sometimes to you, and the look people get when you ask to repeat can make it worse. So I finally plucked up my courage to go get a test, but having no experience in this I went to Rockwell in person to ask about an appointment. When I walked in the lady at the desk looked at me strangely as if wondering if I'd gone into the wrong office, and when I asked about appointments she laughed out loud at me and said they were booking well into next month. She didn't ask if I'd like to book one, she just stared at me like I was an idiot for asking. Dear secretary, if you ever read this, I want you to know your cold manner will make sure I go on feeling uncomfortable about my hearing. You made me feel foolish, unwelcome, and like my wanting to deal with the problem was unwarranted. You will never have my business, because that's the only thing I can do. Maybe you were having a bad day, but when your working with people, please consider doing it with more tact. Some of us are unsure and have no experience in what is involved in running a office that does hearing tests.

It was fantastic, Tosha Hodgson was extremely accommodating and fantastic at what she did, my IEM impressions were immediately approved by 64 Audio.
