Good product good people.

I had purchased a hearing aid about 5 years ago from Mainland Hearing which has rebranded itself as NexGen Hearing . Dr. Soltani re tested my hearing and found that my right ear was fine and my left ear has not deteriorated since my last hearing test a few years prior. I have been having problems hearing voices especially in crowded spaces and even when my wife asked me a question( great excuse to ignore her) . Dr Soltani recommended a resound Linx 3d and was so sure I would see the difference he gave me a demo hearing aid to try for three weeks , Technology has changed so much that Dr . Soltani asked me for my Iphone where he promptly downloaded the Resound app and synced the aid my phone along with blue tooth .. This allows me to change settings for "norma;. Restaurants, Outdoors , and music environments. It also allows me to establish my own settings by altering the sound enhancer features by increasing or decreasing bass treble or middle on the sound spectrum.. I almost immediately could hear better . When I got home I could no longer use hearing as an excuse not to respond to my wife ( for every positive there is a negative) . It didn't take me long to decide to purchase and I am noticing a big change in my hearing environment . Let me make something clear hearing aids are not a panacea for hearing loss .It helps a great deal but nothing at this time , can fully replace hearing loss . My resound though is pretty darn good mind you . NexGen service is excellent I had an issue the next day and there wonderful staff solved the issue the next day by walking through the steps to on my Iphone to turn off blue tooth a feature I found not very helpful in hearing cellphone calls in fact I couldn't hear them at all . >My purchase kit included a zillion batteries as well as ear wax guard protectors. The cost was not inexpensive but I felt I got excellent value for the money I spent . I don't know what hearing aids are not covered by our universal health plan. Hearing is so important to our everyday quality of life . In closing highly recommend
