Costco Hearing Aid Center

Sorry, I've nothing good to say either about their customer service or expertise. I was told by the audiologist that Costco hearing aids are the best price in the market, but I manage to get brand name for even better price and overall a caring service from another vendor.

Very disappointing with the lack of knowledge & lack of customer service skills from the staff (except the examiner) working in this hearing aid center. So funny and ridiculous. I took my Dad (92 yrs), to get his hearing aid, and he paid 900.00, then changed his mind wanted me to get the refund to his credit card. Just for this purpose I would have gone 3 times already, each time they will say it will take 2 weeks to get the refund or the manager has to be here. One of the staff will call you "darling" etc etc, but sadly the service or the knowledge is poor. Even the rest in there have no proper people skill or customer service. No one really take care of your matter. Making me to come for the 4th time yesterday, Aug. 15th I took my Dad's credit which he gave and wanted me to get the refund because he paid with that. Both women, in the reception on Wed.15th afternoon around 4.00 (don't want to mention names) said I need to bring my Dad, in order to use his credit card to be refunded. RIDICULOUS!! beyond measure. !! One of them, was telling us we need to be the power of attorney of our Dad, in order to get the credit back into his credit card. Otherwise she will lose her job. LOL. LOL LOL LOL I seriously don't know which law school she went to ...so much foolishness. Both refused to credit by Dad's card which he originally used or even didn't bothered to help us in any way. 2 ignorant staff !! COSTCO SHOULD HIRE MORE INTELLIGENT ONES. We went and complained to the Costco manager, who right away was smart enough to get the refund right back to us. He knew his job well & was knowledgeable. This is a SIMPLE MATTER of just refunding the money to the card with which it was paid initially. Any shop does that, and that is normal and legal. I wish they will not repeat this foolishness again. There have been others who have mentioned that the staff there hasn't got any customer service personality. Never will go again to costco for this purpose. There are many other places selling better brands much less, one in Mississauga. An audiologist has an amazing clinic, we are taking our Dad, he is knowledgeable and educated.
