My mom tried 2 walk in clinics to resolve some Ear discomfort. Brought her to this Clinic on the 3rd attempt to resolve the issues and the service was optimal. It's a great location and they know what they are doing. Dr. Edmond was excellent.

I am so happy I could cry. I've felt severe ear pain for 1 week due to impacted wax. 2 different doctors at 2 different clinics tried to flush out my ear but were unsuccessful. They told me to go home and keep using the wax softening drops. 1 even prescribed me antibiotic ear drops and oral antibiotics because she thought my severe ear pain was due to infection. Then I found Hearing Aid Source's wax removal services on Google and spoke with Jodi at the front desk. She was extremely sympathetic and understanding of my desperation. She immediately gave me a 4:30 slot that day (this was Friday night, too, when most people try to leave work early). I met with Edmond, and let me tell you, he saved me. He showed me video footage inside my ear, used 3 different heavy-duty tools, and worked on me for ONE AND A HALF HOURS, slowly and gently dislodging the years of impacted wax and dead skin. To start, he explained every single step in detail and he was understanding of my extremely-low pain tolerance. Not that this hurt, it's just weird to feel things moving inside your ear so I cringed and squirmed a lot. About 10 times, I thought he would be fed up with my squirming and send me home with "use more of the wax softening drops and come back." He did not say that even once. He knew I was in pain and was determined to help me. After 1.5 hours, the pain was GONE and I could hear again!!! And just in time because I had Avengers: Infinity War tickets for the next day. I will return every 6 months for life, as I seem to have this problem every 10 years or so. I will refer everyone I know to this clinic, as should you. Got hearing problems? Go to Edmond. Feel ear pain? Visit Edmond. Feel perfectly fine/no complaints? Go see Edmond anyway. He and Jodi are hilarious so it'll be fun just to chill at their office. Thank you SO SO much for helping me Edmond! I am euphoric with relief!

My right ear was bothering me for weeks. I couldn’t eat properly, sleep or even function comfortably due to the wax build up in my ear. My biggest fear is getting my ears cleaned/having stuff put in my ears so when I knew it was time to get my ears cleaned I did a lot of intensive research to find the best place in Toronto. Upon doing my research I came across the hearing aid source and Edmond and let me just say that was one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. Edmond is a very understanding, patient and caring ear cleaning superhero. Despite my numerous questions and squirming and fear Edmond took the time to explain everything that was going to happen and I can’t stress enough how Patient he is!! The process was quick and I was in tears of relief when it was over. I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is. Even the lady at the front (Jodi) was welcoming and let me know everything would be ok. If you ever need your ears cleaned or anything to do with hearing COME HERE!!! This is not only the best clinic in Toronto but the best in the world. Thank you Edmond and Jodi! I will be back in the future for a routine ear cleaning but I definitely won’t be scared!

Dr Edmond is by far the best doctor I have ever visited in all my years! I am so thankful that I happened to find him at the time that I did. I had been suffering from excruciating pain in my right ear from impacted wax and had been in and out of various other doctor's offices over the preceding week, which offered little to no help or assistance besides the 5 minutes that they could spare to tell me the same thing over and over again. The other doctors simply prescribed me some oil drops to put in my ear, and even after an entire week of drops and multiple visits back, all the other doctors would say is "well go put some more drops in and come back". Nobody quite took the time to look into the issue properly, diagnose the problem, and explain it to me in such detail as Dr Edmond had. Meanwhile, my pain was so bad that I could barely chew, I couldn't hear at all from my right ear, I couldn't sleep or get through most of my day without pain medication and I felt like the whole right side of my head was being ripped to shreds from the inside out. I can't begin to explain how bad it was. The shooting pains that came every 3 or 4 seconds would make me wince and flinch. When I first called the Hearing Aid Source Jodi picked up and had gotten me into an emergency appointment on the same day after hearing about my situation. An hour after my call I was squeezed in for the day and was being consulted by Dr Edmond. Dr Edmond spent the next 4 AND A HALF HOURS with me!! He didn't quite. In fact, he wouldn't quite. Working with various tools and medicine to slowly and steadily chip away at the (probably years and years of) wax buildup. As he stated himself, he wanted to make sure that I went home happy and pain free that day. Other doctors probably would have just given up or made you come back another day after putting in more drops, but not Dr Edmond! Although his offices closed at 5pm that day, Dr Edmond stayed behind after everyone else had left. He had taken it upon himself to call his wife and tell her that he would be coming home late that day - which just goes to show you how passionate he is, how much he cares about his patients, and how seriously he takes his job. Dr Edmond did literally everything in this power to make sure that his patients are completely satisfied. Throughout the whole process, Dr Edmond made sure that I understood everything that was happening, what tools he was using, how it would feel, why this happens, and how to avoid it in the future. Oh and let me not forget to mention his GREAT sense of humour! His positive attitude and jokes helped to lighten the situation and take my mind off of the pain. 4 and a half hours later and I got my hearing back and was pain free! My hearing had been gone for so long that I felt like I couldn't even recognize my own voice. I can't even begin to thank Dr Edmond enough after that whole ordeal. I must also give my praise to Jodi! Jodi was super nice, caring and would come to check in on me from time to time, asking if I needed anything or if they could do anything to make me feel more comfortable. Excellent service and fantastic with kids! Edmond and his assistant Jodi are friendly and competent. I believe that if I had known about this clinic sooner my son would not have suffered needlessly for a week with ear pain. Sick kids hospital, walk in clinic & family doctor confirmed that his ear was severely plugged but they did not take the necessary time to try to remove the compacted ear wax. It feels like they were more interested in prescribing antibiotics. Edmond was amazing with my 5 year old son. Very patient and gentle.
