Barbara and her husband run a very professional and courteous practice where the patient comes first. She is incredibly patient and kind when she helps my father and is an incredibly nice person. I wish more businesses practiced this level of care and customer focus. Thank you for all that you have done to help my family!

What I learned from my experience in looking for hearing aids: continuing support (for years afterward!) is absolutely essential. Barbara shines in this department. Not only did she lead me towards the right choice of hearing aid, but she actually encourages return visits anytime. I feel incredibly well taken care of whenever I'm at Palo Alto Hearing Aid Center and recommend it with enthusiasm.

Barbara is the absolute best audiologist around. She is a perfectionist in the art of fine tuning.

This review is long overdue. I don't even remember how we found Barbara, but we needed a hearing aide doctor for my mother who has dementia, which made it hard for her to remember what she needed adjusted. Barbara was so warm and welcoming and always spent a good deal of time not just dealing with my mother's hearing aide, but making sure to sit and converse with her. Over time, Barbara became a real friend. She treated my mother like gold. She listened to and remembered everything about my mother from the names of her kids to her cat. She'd always just sit and chat with her, making her feel like she was visiting with a friend. Any time there was an issue like losing a hearing aide or needing service, Barbara immediately dealt with the issue and followed up. Over the years Barbara was so sweet, she'd even call my mother just to say hello and check in. I can't say enough about her. She's warm, smart, goes the extra mile, is incredibly knowledgeable about all types of hearing aides and is so honest & trustworthy that I never doubted her advice. Even years after my mother moved, I could always call Barbara for advice and even send back her hearing aide for service. We've since met with several hearing aide specialists and no one comes close to Barbara's warmness and caring. If at all possible, we will continue to use Barbara from afar. She is truly the most wonderful person.

I consider myself very fortunate for having found Palo Alto Hearing Aid Center when I needed my first hearing aids, in early '16. After receiving my diagnosis from the Palo Alto Medical Foundation audiology department, it was clear that I needed to see an audiologist. It took over a month to schedule an initial appointment with a PAMF audiologist, and then I learned it would be another month to schedule a fitting... and in selecting a product, they could not show me samples to compare sizes etc. After visiting a hearing aid forum, I learned about the Palo Alto Hearing Aid Center. I was thrilled to be able to book my first appointment with Barbara within a few days, and I learned a lot from her - she asked a series of questions to determine what was important to me, and based on this she helped me select the right product. I was able to evaluate two different products in her office during my first appointment, and I left with fully working devices to try out. A few days later I had my second appointment to replace the loaners with my own, and to get sized for custom ear molds. I returned about a week later to receive my custom ear molds and perform some fine-tuning of the features. All of this transpired over just 3 weeks... and before any payments were made! I continue to be an extremely satisfied customer after almost 3 years... I recently returned for a cleaning and minor repair, and found Barbara to still be very accessible, and quite responsive over email. The key areas where my expectations were (and still are) blown away by Barbara: - Ease of scheduling appointments - Product availability on hand to evaluate side-by-side - Attention to my specific needs - Spending the time needed to get it right, and never feeling rushed - Quick (same day) email responses to questions - Very professional and friendly demeanor, comfortable environment Thank you, Barbara!
