My 94 year old father had been experiencing head fullness and echoing in his head for sometime. It was very uncomfortable and quite a nuisance. We had been to several ear Dr's with no help or answers. Dr. Hegarty knew right away what was going on. He had a diagnosis and remedy immediately. We were so impressed with his professionalism and his wonderful personality. His staff was also very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this practice highly.

I have always had great experiences with Dr Hagerty. He's very knowledgeable, seems to stay up to date in his field and has a great personality. I was hoping he could fix me because he is one of my favorite doctors and I've seen lots but unfortunately my problem appears not to be ear related although my symptoms mimic an ear problem but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone with an ear problem. Chelsea Heitzmann Au.D. is also pleasant, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The office staff have always been good to me when I call in to make an appointment and they always do their best to answer any questions I may have. I think Dr. Hagerty has built a great team. The refreshment center is a very nice touch, very much appreciated and I think it's a sign that shows that they truly care about the needs and comfort of their patients.

In January I went to a local ENT to have a hearing test. Based on the results, he recommended I visit Dr Hegarty of Colorado Springs Ear Associates, who specialized in my particular diagnosis. Two surgery’s later, and my ears are resting at normal levels. It’s been 10 years of slowly losing my hearing (I thought people were just mumbling). Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I’m 100% thankful for Dr Hegarty, his professional team, and the ability to finally hear again.

Excellent experience overall. I had lost almost all hearing in my left ear due to wax buildup. Dr Hegarty was able to vacuum out all of the wax in just a couple of minutes. I haven’t been able to hear this well for years. Thank you!

Well, another stellar appointment today at Colorado Springs Ear Associates, with Dr. Joseph Hegarty. I feel privileged to have such a fine ear specialist in our town. I’m in my mid 60’s and have been going to ear specialists since I was in my 20’s due to an injury to my ear. Usually my appointments with other doctors were painful and dreaded....until Dr. Hegarty. Even if I moved out of state I think I would find an excuse to fly here when it was time for my ear appointment, that’s how highly I regard this doctor. Also, it’s rare these days to not just like the doctor, but his entire staff as well. Every single person he has hired is a people person, loves what they do (and it shows). Today I had time to chat with the front receptionist, Lauren. What a jewel! Dr. H and your staff...if you happen to read this in the future, thank you and God bless each of you for making such a positive impact on everyone that walks through your office door! Marsha Thorson
