Hearing, Balance & Speech Center

I met the Center through the Foundation for Sight and Sound. They have been nothing but tŕuly wonderful to me. I got my hearing aids through them because they we're chosen as the Provider for the Foundation. They treat me as if I were a paying client. They have been courteous and helpful. Richard, who's the audiologist is terrific. He's always on time, so skilled and so pleasant. I can't say enough good things about the center.

Proceed with caution when going to this place After my long search for an honest and trustworthy Audiologist, I come across this place. After all, they had mostly positive reviews, and even have 2 positive reviews right here on Google. Unfortunately, this place proved to belong to that group of Audiologists, who, when they see you walk in through the door, they automatically see money signs. Not only did they overprice my hearing aids by almost $3,000.00, but they have a whooping 12% return fee. If for whatever reason your hearing aids don't work out for you, as they didn't for me, they will deduct 12% of the price of hearing aid to keep. I guess, that is how they stay in the business. So, my hearing aids were $7,000 (would have paid $4,150 through ZipHearing, as that is ZipHearing price for new Oticon OPN 1 RITE ), and since the hearing aids didn't work out for me, they charged me whooping $840.00 (7,000.00*.12). So, again, please be careful when choosing your Audiologist. I have pretty bad hearing, and unfortunately for me, have had to deal with many Audiologists over the years, and can honestly tell you that this definitely is one industry, where patients are constantly taken advantage off. Dealing with hearing loss is hard enough, it's even harder when 90% of Audiologists, or Hearing Specialists, overcharge you. After my experience, my goal is to warn people, so they can learn through my experience, and don't have to go through same experience themselves. There are good Audiologists out there, and I was finally lucky enough to find one, but you are going to have to deal with many dishonest Audiologist, before you finally come across the one that is honest, and isn't only after your money. So, take your time, do your research, and make sure to support honest Audiologists, who are worth of our support.
