Best deal we've ever made my husband loves the hearing aids
Oct 27, 2015
The hearing specialist gave me three options of hearing aids ranging is out of pocket cost of $2999, $3499, and $4500. The price was to be expected without insurance, but my issues came when i asked the hearing specialist to describe the differences between the hearing aids. besides telling me the price would be higher, and the quality of sound being "better" the hearing specialist could not give ANY factual evidence the hearing aid would be better. when purchasing an electronic (which a hearing aid is) you would expect the seller to know why the more expensive version is better. go into best buy and ask what the difference between a $200 laptop and a $4000 is and they will give you hard specifications as to what you are paying for in the more expensive version. In the case of the specialist that worked with me, she wrote the names of the three options on a sticky note and said "google it"... is seems foolish to have someone try and sell a $4500 product and tell the customer to google the specs themselves.
