Rude , inconsistent, do not keep their word , refused to correct big mistakes in letters, do not return phone calls when promised, falsely blame the patient , do not appreciate the patients' efforts (& patient's Union's efforts) to help w/ Insurance discount programs / patient did all the research on problems affiliated w/ hearing loss herself & was never thanked for sharing this with them by letter & by fax - I paid for those faxes, Xeroxes & US Mail! They only had 1 flyer on Hamilton CapTel in their office Dec. 2015, that's all Audiology Supervisor could find, they had zilch about phone systems for hearing impaired on Dec.23, 2015 except for 1 old Hamilton CapTel flyer that wasn't even stamped nor tagged as being from an Audiologist's office! Then they never ordered the RX pair of Hearing Aids as promised in Dec. 2015 (they were on special sale in Dec. 2015 when I had my appointment there & it was my 3rd hearing test w/them since 2003) & forgot their in - person verbal promise about making a monthly payment arrangement if the Ins. didn't pay for RX Hearing Aids as I can't finance. Manager never called me when RX Hearing Aids came in as promised, because they never sent the RX Hearing Aids order in Dec.23, 2015 as promised! She went home sick Dec.23,2015 after speaking to me w/ Dr. Scherl & mgr. forgot all about me until May 2016, despite my many efforts in writing & by calling to reach her. May 2016 : five 1/2 mos. later, she did not remember her promises & apparently she never wrote it in my chart Dec. 23 , 2015& RX Hearing Aids were never ordered as promised despite taken 2 ear molds on Dec23,2015! I called them.back afternoon of Dec.23,2015 while in transit & I was promised Audiology Dr would call me back by 5 pm on Dec.23,2015& she never did! My instructions were at first, the manager herself was supposed to call me when RX Hearing Aids came in , I was assuming Jan.2016. They never ordered these RX Hearing Aids as promised & used excuse that Dr Scherl "didn't know what I wanted"!! Wrong, it was decided Dec.23,2015!
Dr. M. Scherl had been 1 of my MD' s since 1999 & refused to believe I had as much ear pain as I did. (Dr. Takeshi WAKAMORI, a different ENT Otolaryngologist never refused to believe I had ear pain& wrote it in my chart before he retired..) The local Hospital emergency room 2016 gave me pain RX 3 times & gave me 3 discharge summaries 2016 stating EAR pain & head / neck pain was part of the Arthralgia TMJ & TMJ Joint Syndrome &2 referrals for Pain Mgmt. Specialist! ( 1st began w/ car accident long ago). Office mgr. refused any reports that weren't from an ENT or Ear Specialist! A local Urgent Care also confirmed in writing from 3 diff.staff & MD , ear pain on several occasions 2016& she didn't want these reports. I tried to straighten this out all 2016& got nowhere, I received an incorrect letter stating Dr. Scherlhad recommended binaural headphones, which he never did. No one EVER spoke to me about binaural headphones,&I cannot wear headphones as I wake up w/ seariing ear pains hours later& he wrote incorrectly that I "get the occasional ear pain"! SAY WHAT ?? ! In 2007, 1 of the Audiologists there told me to never use ear buds or headsets and look at what MD incorrectly wrote in 2016& refused to correct the letter! After all they did against me falsely, the Mgr. had the nerve to call it stress & wouldn't admit 5 months later these RX Hearing Aids that they failed to order for me were no longer on sale, claimed 1 of the Audiologists put my faxes & letters info "into notes in my chart" , never admitted her error in failing to order the RX Hearing Aids as promised on Dec.23,2015& then sends an incorrect letter that the Dr. had recommended "binaural headphones" to me, which he never did & then refused to correct the letter! The former mgr. then called me " stress", any excuse to cover up their mistakes& blocks out my text messages explaining what happenned! 2 yrs later now Aug.2017, they send me a mailing specifically labeled to me, that I am one of their "valued patients"' about Hearing Aids
