Dr. Alan Gross has been my audiologist for over 20 years. I have had hearing loss for as long as I can remember, and Dr. Gross has always been able to provide me with the latest technology in hearing aids. Dr. Gross has been very accommodating and understanding of the difficulties of life with hearing loss. His patience and quality of care is unparalleled and that is why I have been going to him for over 20 years, and will definitely continue to do so.

Losing my hearing has been very hard for me. Dr. Gross has been there for me from the day I walked into his office. Dr. Gross ran all the test needed so he could determine my diagnosis. He then went above and beyond to help me get top grade hearing aids to assist me with my loss of hearing and clarity of words. Dr Gross patience and consistency truly helps him find out what each individual patient needs, which is hard to find in this day and age. Anyone who is going thru the harsh tragedy of hearing loss, I highly recommend Dr. Gross to help find the best solution to make your life as comfortable as possible.

I want to thank and give gratitude to Dr. Gross. About 15 years ago I lost complete hearing in my left ear. There was nothing, at that time, that would help me. A month ago I went to see Dr. Sharf because i was getting very bad vertigo. He suggested I have a tube put in the left ear so he can give me injections but before the surgery I needed to have an audiology test done. That’s when I met my savior. He performed the test and said my left ear hearing was completely dead, ah I knew this. I asked him if there was something that can help me, that’s when he mentioned the Baha implant. At first I thought he was kidding with me. He explained how it work and showed me an example of what would happen if I had the implant done. He put this gadget behind my left ear, he the proceeded to walk out of the room & told me to cover my right ear. I was able to hear from my left ear completely. I was so ecstatic that I wanted to have it done right away. He said I had to talk to the surgeon who does that surgery. Well the following week I had surgery to have the tube put in. While in the pre-op room I told the Dr. I was interested in the Baha implant. He said he would ask his staff to call my insurance to see if it was covered. A week later Amber, one of the staff members, called me and said the insurance was approved and was scheduled for the surgery the following week. I couldn’t believe it was happening so fast. I had the implant installed in my skull and had to wait 8 weeks for the scar to heal before the hearing aid can be put on. One week ago I went to have the hearing aid put on. I can’t even explain how happy and excited to be able to hear from both ears. It’s so cool and I can control the volume through my smart phone. Anyone who has this problem I would suggest you see Dr. Gross and have a consultation. He took his time explaining everything and showing me the cool things I can do with the hearing aid, it actually also works like a Bluetooth. I can answer my phone and play music. I love it. Thank you Dr. Gross for telling about the Baha and taking the time to learn how to use it.
