What Tony has done for my husband Bill is remarkable since he has been profoundly deaf most of his life. Tony is so caring and patient. We recommend to anyone who is having problems hearing go to Tony at Willoughby hearing. You won't regret it.

My 84 year old mother had been a loyal customer and was never informed that this company had recently been sold. New receptionists, new doctors (It's no longer Tony McLean, so you may effectively disregard any previous reviews baring his name.) Her most recent appointment, she was a bit confused, because she thought she was going in for a six month periodical hearing assessment, and only received an ear CLEANING, with an offer to buy the product they used for the low low price of $10 a bottle. Afterwards, she asked about the hearing assessment. The receptionist "double-checked" and admitted that YES, that WAS what was supposed to happen. Apparently my mother was in luck, because the doctor's next appointment had cancelled. So, she gets shuffled back into another room, and waits; FOR 25 MINUTES. When she exits the room, the receptionist is eating a hamburger. My mother asks if the doc will be showing up anytime soon. She is informed that he is at lunch, and given the option to wait longer. My mother reschedules (nearest they could get her for the test she was supposed to have already taken is November 7th), and asks what has changed. The receptionist informs her that ownership of the company has changed. She asks why she wasn't told. The receptionist says that some people knew, and some people didn't. My mother asks about her billing, for the visit, and the reception says my mother doesn't have to worry about that, because they already have her payment information. This was October 24th, and this evening, the 26th is the first I heard of it. This is NOT how you treat customers. This is a disgusting example of taking advantage of the elderly. You WILL see me and you WILL explain TO ME why exactly why you cannot care for your patients properly, yet reassure them that you have full access to their money. Edit: In response to this review, the company said they'd call me. They don't have my contact info. I'll speak to them about this when my mother (who doesn't share the same surname) shows up with me and my sister, November 7th. I'll leave them to puzzle out which client they screwed over. See you soon :-)

I am deaf in my left ear and recently tried a cros-hearing aid, which gave me a second hearing aid in my deaf ear which was supposed to amplify sound in my good ear. Tony gave me lots of time to evaluate and when I decided it was not working well, he took it back for a full refund. I have had some emergencies, including losing my hearing aid, and I was given a "loaner" until my new aid arrived. I am usually able top get an appointment on the same day and always receive attentive service from both Tony and Amanda. I have worn other aids and never been as satisfied as I am now.

I have been to several places to get my hearing loss attended to over the year. Tony was the first person to really listen to me. He understood my frustration with other hearing providers. Now I have hearing aids that actually work and feel good in my ears. I highly recommend Tony McLean and Willoughby Hearing In Eugene, OR. Linda Ashley

After years of hearing aid sellers that were only interested in selling the latest invention and little help later, I was so happy to come to Willoughby and find a doctor interested in being sure that I had the hearing aids best suited for me. He changed them twice and now am really HAPPY.
