Dont do business with Lucas Duberow, he owned Zounds hearing in Portland and ran the business into the ground collecting payments from customers and then leaving them high and dry, then he purchased Beltone Hearing in Tigard as well as Richland, Yakima & Vancouver, WA and proceeded to run that operation into the ground too and in turn left his patients and employees high and dry without service or paychecks.

I don't wear hearing aids yet, but my hearing loss is leading me in that direction. Currently the loss is such that I struggle in meetings and other locations where I need to understand someone always away. As a result I decided to investigate some high-end, user-adjustable aids that would let me set them up for meetings as well as music. I explained what I wanted, and the folks at NW hearing set me up with some aids (All American Honor i2400) that were controlled from my phone. At no cost I was able to test them in meetings, at live symphony concerts, and loud restaurants. The All American Honor i2400 hearing aid helps in improving intelligibility of conversation well. However, the default speech mode makes music sound awful. Music is really important to me, so I wanted to find something that would work with music as well. On switching to music mode, music sounded like music, but like someone had turned up the treble control. I could hear more details. It might be worth it just for the music, actually. In the end I decided that I'm a few years early--the hearing aids don't do enough for me now, but I'll likely need to get them eventually. When I do get hearing aids, I will certainly want to find something like this that will work for both speech and music. NW Hearing Aids let me try these out without pressure. Recommended.

Northwest Hearing Care is, without a doubt, the best hearing aid and general source for up to the minute hearing technology available. I have been extensive experience with other good services over the past 30 years but Dan Bancroft and his staff lead the pack. Service after the sale, which is free, is exemplary!

I have been dealing with these folks, now Dan Bancroft and Shannon, for the past 6-7 years starting with Otocon hearing aids which were not really that good and could not be programmed. Then I got into a Starkey product, still not ideal for me, so I did not wear them that often. When one of them failed a few months ago probably due to moisture Dan suggested trying out the new Pride 2400 by All American Hearing (RIC) which has more microphones, more programmable options, and a slightly thinner cable to the receiver. YES, they are more expensive, but I got a good trade-in on my old hearing aids, and Shannon did the paper work for me for a medical account with Wells Fargo to pay the balance interest free over 18 months which I more easily handle. Then Dan spent several sessions programming these to get the best result for me. Then he adjusted setting 3 for my music interests, since I love to listen to flamenco guitar on CDs plus I take mandolin lessons. Now I wear these while I am playing without any of the harsh tinny sound I had before. I could never wear my old hearing aids during practice or recitals He was able to increase both the bass and treble response. I absolutely love these and now I wear them all day every day! They are so comfortable. Follow-up is free and I get firmware up dates frequently. Absolutely the best personal service from both Dan and Shannon. These guys are like family to me!
