I’ve been going to Hampton Roads Ent for a year now. They are always friendly. They are usually pretty quick too. Dr. Howard performed my surgery and advised me every step of the way. He even answered his phone on a Sunday when I thought I was having a complication with my surgery. I was not of course. Lisa in the office is always friendly and inviting. She’s awesome.

I am extremely happy with my experience at Hampton Roads ENT. Dr Jacobson was kind and patient in explaining his diagnosis, and ensuring that I understood all of my options. Dr Hart made the results of my hearing test easy to understand, and last, but by no means least, the staff. Everyone was professional, but friendly and a lot of fun! If competent doctors and great customer service is important to you, then I definitely recommend this practice!

Nurses giving shots are great. Front desk folks usually terse to the point of rudeness. Appointments mean nothing. As I sit here at 4:20 I have yet to be called for my 4:15 appointment.

Dr. Howard is wonderful man and doctor. Very caring and thorough. He is so good with children. My son looks forward to seeing him. Just a really great guy, and his staff is amazing and sweet.

We saw Dr. Jacobson for all three of our children due to concerns about tongue ties. We are so thankful our son saw Dr. Jacobson after we brought him home from a long stay in the NICU- he made all the difference for him. Some backstory: While we were in the NICU with our twins, we asked and pleaded to get their tongue ties revised but were told that because they could stick their tongue out, they did not have a tongue tie. After a swallow study while still in the NICU, we found out one of our twins was silently aspirating on his bottles and had to take thickened formula with oatmeal so he could swallow safely. Once he was discharged, he started refusing his bottles because the oatmeal caused him so many digestive issues (not to mention the nightmare of trying to fix the bottle to the exact consistency he needed— he was still choking and struggling). We brought him to Dr. Jacobson, he immediately indentified the anterior tongue tie and explained how that, coupled with his high palette, meant he was struggling to form a bolus to swallow safely... hence the silent aspiration. He explained the risks of a tongue tie revision thoroughly, and together we decided we needed to do it. It immediately changed the way he was taking his bottle for the better. A week and a half later, we went back for another swallow study and he’s now able to form a bolus to swallow and no longer requires thickened feeds thanks to Dr. Jacobson. Dr. Jacobson listened to our concerns, he explained everything thoroughly, and followed up to make sure everything was going well. I love his approach, he values parental opinions and involvement. He even let us stay in the room for as long as we needed. We highly recommend him, he has worked miracles on all 3 of our children!
