I went to the Hearing House today to get my hearing checked. I was greeted at the door by Todd Beyer. He was very welcoming, offered Mom and I a cup of coffee and checked us in. We only had to wait about 10 minutes until he came back and got us from the waiting area. Todd was very friendly, calling both Mom and myself by our first names and showed us in to his office. He explained everything extremely well and was willing to answer questions at any time. The hearing test was very thorough and completely painless. He explained my options to me and told us that if we had any questions to not hesitate to call him. The most shocking and wonderful part of the whole experience is that it was FREE! If you are having any issues with your hearing, take my advice and go see Todd Beyer at the Hearing House. You won't be disappointed!!

I had purchased a pair of PHONAK hearing aids in Green Bay five years ago and am now retired and living in north-central Wisconsin. One of the hearing aids needed service so my first choice to go to was the audiology department at regional hospital. I quickly became very frustrated with this visit, and a subsequent second visit, when the first question they asked me was “did you purchase them here?”. When I said NO, there was a pause in the conversation and a shift in their attitude to “well you know you will have to pay for the repairs". I replied that I knew that and was expecting to pay since I knew the hearing aids were out of warranty. I had to make a second trip back to the hospital to see an audio tech where he also shares the attitude “ you did not get them here”. He then replied that sending the aids to the factory would cost over $400! At this point, I was frustrated with the hospital's attitude and left since I did now want to say all the uncivil adjectives that were running through my head. I stopped at the Wausau location where I was met by Nicole who was immediately concerned about getting my hearing aids repaired. She first looked to see if she had the necessary repair parts and when did not, took the aid from me. She gave me an exact price much less than the $400 and then said if the factory can send her the parts the repair-cost might be less. Nicole called me within a week to say the repaired hearing aid was returned and to schedule a time to pick it up. When I picked up my hearing aide, Nicole was concerned that everything was correct. I was impressed that she had downloaded the settings of the hearing aid and told me to come back any time for additional or other problems including adjustments. I am an engineer, and a geek; I am aware of how much technology works and the cost associated with it. I accept that many repairs to electronics, and even mechanical items, can be expensive. I do not mind paying this as long as there is good customer service along with the repairs. Nichole provides excellent customer service and I will not hesitate to go back to her if I have another need for service or repair. In addition, I will not hesitate to refer her to others that might need her services.

I have been to a lot of places dealing with my hearing aids over the past 7 years. Without question the Hearing House is number one. There knowledge and professionalism is without question outstanding. I would highly recommend them.
