Went to GSL Chev on a Saturday morning because my truck wasn't running properly. I needed my truck fixed asap as we were from out of town. The service manager went out of his way to get my truck on the road again even though the were booked solid. I really appreciate it and would definetely recommend them. Thanks!

I have been a GSL customer for 5 years now. Within those 5 years, there have been TWO occasions that I received my vehicle back from a seasonal tire change, only to find that multiple bolts on multiple tires were extremely loose (almost to the point of falling off) and inadequately torqued. BOTH times I almost lost a wheel while driving down Crowchild. This type of dangerous negligence is grossly unacceptable. During my last interaction with GSL I was picking up my summer tires, which GSL had been storing for years. I called three times in the previous week to confirm a time and date that I could come by and pick them up, I was assured 3 times that they would be ready. When I arrived on a Wednesday, no one had any idea where my tires were. They hadn't been pulled from storage yet and I had to wait an HOUR AND A HALF in the middle of the workday for them to finally locate my tires. If the safety of your vehicle and your precious time doesn't matter to you, you should definitely consider GSL. This unprofessional establishment provides nowhere near the lowest level of adequate service. If you are having work done on your vehicle at GSL, understand that the responsibility of making sure everything was done correctly and properly lies squarely on you.

This dealer’s Service dept is really quite poor. So bad I need to find a new dealer. 1. It’s hard to get ahold of them. Multiple layers of phone calls and re-explaining what you want before you get someone who knows anything. 2. The service advisors don’t communicate well, so you don’t know what the status is unless you call in, and then go through the phone call gauntlet described in #1. 3. Their systems suck - they send you home with a non-fixed vehicle, tell you they need parts. You hear nothing for a week or more, call in, and they say “ya, we’ve had the parts for 5 days, didn’t your service advisor call you?” 4. Their mechanical skills seem to be lacking as it takes more than one visit to get it right. They say it’s fixed, you leave, later you realize it’s not fixed. So In general, a bunch of nice people work here at GSL, but the service department simply isn’t functional and lacks a customer first attitude. I’d suggest this is a Mgmt program.
