Great experience at Okotoks Honda. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, authentic and genuine. Our salesperson Jerry was fantastic, he never made us feel like we were being pressured into making a purchase and offered very sound advice when we were deciding between two vehicles. His input helped us make the final purchasing decision. The Sales Manager Jacquie was very helpful and accommodating in getting the necessary details finalized before we took possession of the vehicle we ended up with. I appreciated the personal touch of receiving a phone call from her to get some details sorted out and the responsiveness she demonstrated in answering all my questions that kept the whole process on track and led to no unexpected surprises. The Finance Manager Rose was also amazing to deal with. She made the signing process quick and pain free. I loved how easy going and friendly she was and how she had snacks on hand for our little guy to keep him busy while we did the paperwork. So individually you can see how great these folks were but I was even more impressed with how well they worked together as a team. Besides the seamless integration we saw between departments in the sales process. I also appreciated the fun they have with each other. What I mean by this comment is I noticed on the formal paperwork that our sales person Jerry was listed as Jerome on the contract and Rose told us that he hates being called Jerome and to never call him that. So what does she do? She goes on the in house PA system and pages Jerome to come to finance to pick us up when we finished with her and Jerry just laughed about it when he came to get us telling us how he nearly spit out his drink when he heard it on the PA. That is indicative of the fun they have with each other at Okotoks Honda that added to the overall pleasurable experience we had. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle from Honda. We have Honda dealerships closer to us than this one but I am glad we ended up going with Okotoks Honda because the whole experience was simply awesome.

Firstly, I wanted to share my experience with this dealership. I inquired about the 2016 Honda Fit and was told by the salesperson it would meet all my needs. After much deliberation, I purchased the vehicle in the spring of 2016. After having it for several months, I took it into the dealership to see why my remote car starter wasn't working properly. The technician that looked at it told me it was working fine and wasn't meant for long distance. I explained that I was told this would work from a far range and told him that the salesperson I purchased my vehicle from had told me I would be able to start it from anywhere. The technician told me that particular salesperson had been fired for saying things like that. I left the dealership frustrated. I also didn't have a great experience with the "oil changes for life" program, but will admit I didn't do much research into it prior to purchasing my vehicle. Overall, it hasn't been to my benefit . Over the past several weeks, I've been trying to get in contact with Okotoks Honda to inquire about getting a new key fob for my push button start. I called the service department and was told they weren't the correct department and passed me along to another department. Again, I was told that wasn't the right department and would be transferred to someone else. I was then hung up on so I called back. I talked to the receptionist and left all my information and she said someone would phone me back that day. After about a week, I received a call asking if I would like to schedule my vehicle in for maintenance. I asked if she was calling about my key fob, and she told me no, but she could transfer me to someone else. I was hung up on again, and finally ended up emailing the dealership. The manager called me back and I explained my frustrations and he said he would check in and get back to me. I decided to leave a review on Google so others could see what I've gone through. I then received a voicemail from the manager and a comment saying " after leaving you a voicemail and noticing your 1 Star Review, we can only understand that you wish to cancel any communication to find resolution." I wasn't aware that leaving an open and honest review meant that I didn't want to find resolution. When choosing this dealership, I had picked them because of all the 5 star reviews they have and thought they would have great customer service. After purchasing my vehicle, I received an email asking me to give them a 10/10 and they would provide me with "a token of appreciation." I've since been dealing with a different Honda Dealership and have had zero issues and would recommend them to everyone.

Stopped in to look at used vehicles, the lady at the desk was friendly and said it would be a five minute wait and we could take a seat and have a coffee. After maybe 15 minutes she came around and let us know they were almost ready and apologized. After another 15 minutes we went to the desk and there were two other people, they were so rude. We asked if it would be much longer or if we should come back another time, they didn't answer by instead got hostile asking if we were wholesalers. We explained that we were looking to buy a used car and that we had been referred to them by our mechanic who only had good things to say about the service department. She then asked what our budget was and what we were looking for. She said she didn't have anything in the style we wanted. We left and could not believe we wasted half an hour there. We ended up missing out on a good deal later. They clearly have good people there but we didn't get to see them, other than the first lady.

Just bought a beautiful used 2016 Odyssey from Okotoks Honda. Service from Magid and Berton was top notch. They bent over backwards to help get our family into this vehicle. Delivery was great, too. Every feature was explained in great detail, and dealing with Rose and Corine in finance was as smooth as could be. Definitely a 5-Star experience and the superior customer service after the fact will make Okotoks Honda our first stop for our next vehicle. Go Flames Go.

Marvin at Okotoks Honda has helped us lease our cars a few times. Most recently, a 2019 Honda CRV Touring which was an upgrade from the 2016 model we leased with Marvin’s help. The whole team at Okotoks Honda is great but Marvin is our go to guy for all of our vehicle needs. Okotoks Honda is most definitely “worth the trip.”
