Brought in cylinder head for an MGB to have checked and valves replaced. The owner Doug said it would take a week to 10 days and the estimated cost would be $400-$500.00. After 10 days, telephoned and was told the job would take another week. After the week, telephoned and was told the cylinder head was in Calgary and they were waiting for a call. Finally picked up the reconditioned cylinder head after 23 days. The invoice was 50% more than estimated. Very poor communication. Doug did not telephone once, even though he promised he would call to update. The job done was so so. One of the studs on the thermostat bowl must have been damaged, as it was replaced with an incorrect length and taped with the wrong thread. Would not recommend this work establishment.

I live much closer to Olds/Hildebrand motors. But after four phone calls over two days and feeling very unappreciated I decided to call Three Hills. What a difference! Not put on hold, I was offered a call back when he found an answer. Actually called back promptly, with all the answers I needed! Friendly, helpful and for me well worth the 40 min drive!

The battery light came on in my dash while passing through for the Cruise Drag Races. Turned out it was my alternator that quit on my 2011 Duramax Diesel. They stayed a few minutes past closing (they had a one in stock) and their on duty mechanic put it in for me. They tested my batteries and showed me the batteries were okay. Thanks Again Everyone!
