There is a vibe, an energy, an intangible feeling, that you sense, when you walk into the Bannister Honda dealership. Which is why it is difficult to put into mere words, while writing a review. Warmth, would be an approximation, as you are enveloped in the welcoming atmosphere. The greetings from all staff members are always real and sincere, as you might receive from your own family. The Service Manager, Steve Bullock, greeted me at the door and set things in motion. During my time in the customer lounge, he provided frequent updates on the mechanic's progress. Steve even said that my Honda Civic Hybrid, would not need all the services, that are recommended for the current kilometres. Yet another pleasant automotive experience at Bannister Honda

After leaving the dealership with a couple of details that concerned me, Daniel took the time to amend the situation and ensure that our car was in tip top shape after all. We have 3 Hondas in our household (and 2 more kids who will be driving soon.) Will recommend Bannister to our "up and coming" drivers. Thanks again, Daniel

Previously, I have had great experiences here but unfortunately, this last experience was very disappointing. I live in Kelowna and go to Vernon specifically to get my car serviced at this dealership. My car was scheduled for a 2.5 hour service for regular maintenance. I used the shuttle provided to be taken to the mall during this appointment to pass the time. After nearly 3.5 hours without contact, I called them to get an update. They responded saying they couldn't get a hold of me with the number on file as it was a home phone number (this number was used when I purchased the car at this dealership last year). I assumed that if they needed to call me, they would have just used the number I left with the shuttle service that day. An employee also private facebook messaged me to try to contact me which didn't work. However, during my appointment, I did check my email more than once to see if they had sent a message regarding the delay, but I had no email from them. I thought it was strange that they would sooner facebook message me over email since email is my primary method of communication with the dealership. In the end, they could not find the specific key needed to take my tires off, so they just did an oil change on my car which previously was only an hour long appointment. This was very frustrating. I would expect that once they were finished servicing my car (even if it was just an oil change, not the full service), they would have told the shuttle to contact me to be picked up. The shuttle service only ended up calling me because it was the last shuttle available. I still need to schedule another appointment now to finish the rest of the services. Overall, it was a waste of my entire day off. I left Kelowna at 12:30pm and returned home at 6:30pm.
