I went to this dealership to look at a used vehicle in March of 2017, but I didn't write a review at that point for a variety of reasons. However, a friend of mine recently went through a horrible ordeal at Harris Mazda and I've decided to now write a review based on my past experience. I went into the dealership looking for a used car, but wasn't able to find anything on the lot that was to my liking. Approx 2 days later I got a call from the sales rep (who was great incidentally) letting me know about a vehicle he had taken in on trade that was a perfect fit for my wife and I. My wife and I show up at the dealership, take the vehicle for a test drive and begin discussing price. We were just about settled on a price when I asked if it would be possible to take one more look at the vehicle. At this point I was informed that I couldn't view the vehicle because another couple was out test driving it and I needed to make up my mind soon or the other couple might offer more than me. At this point we were squabbling over a $200 difference, and the sales manager said "tell you what, we'll sell you the car at that price if the other people test driving it aren't willing to pay more". At this point, I lost it and stormed out as they were not negotiating in good faith. They had someone out test driving the vehicle I was in a negotiation to purchase, and then had the audacity to tell me to hurry up and make up my mind or the other people might buy it out from under me. Total dishonesty. I tried numerous times to contact Tony Harris, I left countless messages with him at the dealership requesting a call back and also emailed him, but I never heard anything. I'll never deal with this dealership ever again, I ended up buying a new vehicle from Courtenay Mazda and they were awesome to deal with. I recommend you go there, Harris Mazda doesn't deserve your business.

Took my MPV in for an airbag recall (great they're still taking care of older vehicles). Cindy at the service desk was a delightful person to talk with. She had a most impressive Halloween get-up to boot. They offered to take me to a mall while the appointment would take a while and I'm from out of town. When I picked the van up, it was clean (I've had greasy boot mark experiences elsewhere) and there was paperwork inside with some tests they did. Great service, thanks so much.

Overcharge by a lot, they charged me $29.99 to put battery pads on a battery they were installing after already charging me 29.99 to install the battery. They also said there are no recalls open at this time on my car, there is. I had to tell the Mazda dealership about a recall, and then they were able to find it on the computer. Also misquoted me approximately $40 when I gave my consent to do the work

I had my car detailed with the Platinum package and I couldn't be happier! It looks brand new again and smells good too! Thank you so much!
