Bought a car from these guys about two years ago. I took a chance based on my experience with the make and model. Turns out it burns a liter of oil for every tank of gas. Before buying it I had asked if my mechanic could look at the car and they said "no." They probably knew it burned oil and would never pass an inspection. It also had $1400 worth of suspension repairs needed, something my mechanic would have pointed out as well. I can't resell it in good conscience because of the oil burning. My mechanic says it will cost about $2k to fix (valve stem seals). So now I drive around with a box of oil in the car and add a liter with each fill up.
Demand that your independent mechanic can look at any car you're considering buying from these guys. If they say "no" then you know you're about to get scammed in some way.
Response to owner:
Seems like every time you get a negative review you claim the reviewer is lying or fake. Seems shady.
"as our company policy we just not allow the vehicle to go to Buddy's garage and get inspection" - Many people have a trusted mechanic, and those mechanics aren't "mobile". If they are good they don't have time to truck around town inspecting vehicles without their tools and a proper lift. Not allowing for a vehicle to be inspected by a competent mechanic in a licensed shop makes it seem like you have something to hide. Full stop.
"Did not meet your expectation and took you 2 years to realize is not a good vehicle" - I realized this the week I bought the car. But I needed it for a trip and I was 500kms away getting gas and checking the oil, surprised to find it needed 2 liters, and was away on a road trip for a month adding oil with every tank. While I think your shop was shady for selling me a car that burned this much oil, I knew that I had no recourse with you because I was stuck using it for an unreasonable amount of miles to expect you to accept its return, an unfortunate turn of events, yes. Though I highly doubt you'd have taken it back. I'm looking to replace it now because of the oil consumption and being in the market reminded me of my bad experience with you. Prompted me to post a review. You have a problem with that?
"And your story doesn't make sense you saying you took a chance and then you complaining I don't understand this."
I had the same car before, with 100,000 more kms on it than the one I bought from you. It didn't burn a drop of oil. It's a model of car that generally had excellent reviews and history for having a solid engine that was good for 300, 000kms. And yet the one I have only had 165,000kms on it and needs a top end rebuild. This is highly unusual for the model of car. The car I bought burning oil doesn't make sense, my taking a chance makes perfect sense. Now do you understand?
"if you are not lying and this is not the fake review .puting a bad review for us unfortunately it seems to me this is are fake review as being few before ...."
Not a fake review. (who are you? Trump?) I bought a car there. I accept that I took a chance on not getting it inspected by my mechanic, but this was only after your dealership denied me the opportunity of having it inspected. And I had owned one of these vehicles before, and I have two friends who own the same vehicle. None of us have had an issue with the motor before this one. Had you allowed me the very reasonable request of having it inspect by my mechanic, the suspension work needed and the oil consumption issue would have been identified. Your reluctance to let me have my mechanic look at the vehicle leads me to believe only one thing, you knew about the problems and didn't want me to have my mechanic look at the vehicle. It's that simple.
