I was looking for my first vehicle and Chuck Wan was super helpful. He walked me through different features of Honda vehicles, compared the cars to other brands, and showed me how I could get the most value for my money. Recommended without a doubt!

I took my Honda Civic for its first maintenance on Dec 12, 2018 to Open Road Honda at Burnaby. After the service, I noticed my car’s all scratch up especially on the hood one ares with circular scratch mark and other area look like some sort of brush like stroke all over. I liaised with Open Road Honda about the issue and took the car to the dealership to show them the scratches. The service advisor told me they will not take any responsibility on it since I did not inform them on the spot when I pick up the car. I explained to them that day was raining really hard and lighting at Honda parking area was so dim made it difficult to see. He admitted the lighting is not bright enough where they had my car parked but then he said they served over 70 customers on that day and none had complain about it , as such all scratch marks on my car’s are not cause by them. Then the service advisor just gave me a body shop card and told me to go fix it by myself. The service advisor was very impatient for the entire process. He just want me to leave as soon as possible. The reason he gave about “ no one complain about it so it is not our issue” attitude was very unprofessional and irresponsible. Just because they did not make the same mistake on other cars does not mean they can ignore what they did on mine. I wrote twice to the service manager about this issue but recieved no response at all. I am truly disappointed with the service that OpenRoad Honda has provided.

Absolutely love these guys and women. They went above and beyond to help me get a new truck and take my car off my hands. I definitely recommend Open Road Honda Burnaby A+++++

Drove out from Langley, saw a car, test drove it, everything was great. Made an offer, they declined. Drove home, made a higher offer, they accepted. I drove all the way back from Langley and somehow magically my updated offer was rejected. Huge waste of my time and energy as well as an extremely negative experience as a first time trying to buy from a dealership. Next time I'll stick to the private market like I'm used to. I'm pretty furious right now. These guys are crooked. And before they try to reply about a miscommunication, it wasn't. I made an offer while I was in the office, they declined. I got home, scraped up every dime of spare money I had and I called made a cash offer, he said "can you come with that right now, we'll take it" so I cancel two other appointments and now once I get down there, it's a bunch of charades and they want to add another $200. I can't believe they have the audacity to business like this but they do. After everything I'm kinda relieved the sales manager rejected the final offer because at the end of this greasy interaction I really didn't feel like purchasing a vehicle from them. I'm a sales manager myself. I could never in a million years imagine ever handling a customer this way, period. Honestly don't waste your time here.

If you want to stand around and waste your time this is the dealership for you. After agreeing to a price I had to wait for almost an hour to simply sign paperwork that took 2 minutes to complete. Hire more staff if you cant' respond to customers in a timely manner. There is very little difference in price from one dealership to the next The only area where a dealer can distinguish themselves is on serving customers. Unfortunately Open Road Honda in Burnaby fails at this.
