I just bought a car at OpenRoad Mazda Port Moody and portfolio specialist Matt Petersen was exceptional. His professionalism, knowledge, patience and kindness made the experience a great one. He goes above and beyond to find you the right car and make sure you are comfortable with all aspects of the deal. No high pressure sales tactics. I will absolutely recommend him to everyone I know. If you want exceptional customer service, see Matt.

Just got an oil change this past Saturday at Open Road Mazda Port Moody. After the oil change, the engine was drastically louder and was rattling. Seriously, I'm not sure how the tech missed that one. I called back to discuss the issue. Long story short, I have to wait another week and a half to get my car back in. I ended up taking my car to a garage and they looked at it for FREE right way. It only took them 2min and they discovered that the air filter cover was not installed back on by the Mazda technician and hence exposing the load engine noise and rattling. This dealership needs to perhaps improve their customer service when it comes to issues like this especially if the dealership was at fault. We all humans and sometimes things happen like forgetting to put something back. It's how you resolve it that reflects you. If a regular garage can simple take a quick look for free, why can't a dealership (which caused the issue) take onus and say.... " sorry to hear that, why don't you bring your car back in and we'll take a quick peek... ". Instead I'm told you have to bring your car in the next available appointment. In the meantime I'm driving with an issue that possibly can cause more promblems. Open Road is a big name and I'm sure you have techs that can spare a few minutes to make sure there wasn't anything more serious with the car. The little car garage down the road was able to provide better service and I wasn't even a customer of his and this wasn't even his issue. Clearly disappointed with this dealerships approach.

I bought my first vehicle about two weeks ago from OpenRoad Mazda and I could not be more happy with my Mazda and the sales service I received. I was surrounded by a very relaxed and happy atmosphere, staff patiently answered all my questions regarding the car and other available services. Matt Petersen helped me during the sales process and quickly addresses all my questions to this day; Matt and Basil both provided me with a lot of helpful information regarding my financing options as a first time buyer. Thank you again OpenRoad Mazda team for all your patience and care during this purchase, I love my Mazda3!

I initially left a positive review for this business; however, I’d like to change my rating to a one star. When I purchased my Mazda SUV, I qualified for the $500 incentive offer that they had for new grads. I was reassured by the sales associates, Trevor and Brian, that I would be able to get this as long as I submit my transcripts to them “anytime”. They failed to inform me that there is a deadline for when I need to submit this requirement. Despite being a few days late, they would not honour their word nor would they acknowledge that it was their poor communication that led to this. I reached out to their sales manager, Paul Sun, and general manager, Sharon Rupal, with no success. Sharon did not even bother responding to my e-mail after I made two contact attempts. Additionally, I contacted Open Road customer service directly and provided them with my contact information upon their request, but no one got back to me from there either. I am so frustrated and disappointed with my experience at Open Road Mazda. The staff there are only friendly and kind prior to you signing an agreement. I regret purchasing my SUV from them and referring my family and friends to their business. If I could end my agreement with them and transfer to a different Mazda dealership, I would instantly. Be cautious and make sure you read the fine print yourself. Based on my experience, the staff will mislead you as long as they gain profit from you.

Went to Open Road Mazda again for new leasing. Wonderful experience again. Thanks to Mr. Kevin Yang's professional and kindly service. Having a new better CX5 GT with a better price. Shopping with Mazda is really a smart choice.
