Wonderful experience with K Jack RV. The staff were friendly and well organized. We arrived at the campsite and our unit was all set up and ready to go. All had a great time and when we were done they came and picked up the rig.

Our sleep was disrupted at 3 am when a neighbouring K-Jack camper’s carbon monoxide detector began beeping loudly. When we asked them to resolve the disturbance they explained that they had rented the trailer from K-Jack and the company was refusing to help. They had actually had the same problem the previous day and spent their own money to replace the battery since K-Jack didn’t respond to their service request until several hours later at which time they refused to take responsibility for the malfunctioning device, offering to replace it only at an additional cost of $35. The family had rented the trailer for only 4 nights to make camping with a two year old a more comfortable experience. Instead it became a nightmare for them and the neighbouring campers. Not to mention very unsafe, if there had been a CO leak, their lives would have been at risk.

Over Canada day weekend, friends of ours rented a trailer from k jack rentals. Unfortunately, the trailer that K Jack Rentals ended up keeping the entire camp up for the entire night. There was some sort of malfunction with the carbon monoxide detector which resulted in very loud, incessant beeping throughout the day and all the through the night. The noise was loud, waking up neighbors and causing disruption throughout the night. We tried to call the company multiple times throughout the day and they refused to do anything about it. Finally, they said they could replace the device but would charge $35. This company is absolutely absurd as they would charge us for a replacement device that physically belongs to their vehicle. It was not our friends’ fault that the device malfunctioned and k jack rentals should not penalize customers for their poor maintenance. Finally at 3 am after waking up the entire camp, we had to settle for covering the device with a towel and try to sleep as best as we could. We were all in for quite a rough night. Would not recommend this rental company because of their poor customer service. If you run into any sort of issues with their trailer they will not come to help, instead try to charge you to fix their trailer. If I could give zero stars for this review, I would!

We rented a 17' trailer for 10 nights. The trailer was very clean, everything was working as it should although there were some signs of wear and tear - expected for 3 y.o. rental trailer.

First of all, Robin and Janine are simply of the greatest of people. They are busy and we are busy, but it’s real easy to spend time with them when we pick up or drop off. They are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. K-Jack offers a wide variety of options in their large fleet. We found their trailers to be exceptionally clean and well stocked. Anything we needed they were equipped to provide from portable bbq’s to lawn chairs to firewood or gas fire pit during fire ban season. Communication is the key, as they are very busy maintaining, delivering and cleaning. Whatever we wanted, they delivered. Full of water, propane, and fully charged batteries. We’ve rented four different trailers. Each had their pros and cons as every trailer does. This experience has helped us to find first hand what we were looking for in our own trailer. My advice would be to be on time for your appointments. Be clear about the size of your party and what you expect. Book early as they fill up fast, and for good reason. If you plan to pull your own trailer (not sure if they still offer this) MAKE SURE you have an appropriate vehicle and hitch. The requirements are clear on their website and there is no scrimping here. Despite what the car dealer may have told you, your caravan or small suv cannot pull a holiday trailer. We’ve now purchased our own trailer and while we love our purchase, we are a little sad that we won’t have to stop by and see Robin and Janine......maybe we will anyways.
