Top notch. Touch at Dancia Motors has never let us down. He had serviced out Volvo's since he bought the business from Henning fifteen years ago. Henning looked after our Volvo's for ten years before that. Always the best and most honest care.

I have been stewing about writing a review for a year and decided to do so because it has just stuck in my craw all this time. I have a fun little reproduction car of a classic 1957 Porsche. I brought my car into Dancia thinking maybe I will have a garage capable of working on a car like mine (essentially an air cooled VW engine) who would treat me in a honest manner. Well in my opinion anything but. They saw me coming. They seemed nice, friendly, knowledgeable and guaranteed me that the car was in capable hands. They knew I had little knowledge of mechanics and although I explained I was a teacher and did not have a great deal of expendable cash they still did not hesitate to over charge for work that I doubt was really even actually done. I needed them to basically check over my vehicle, give it a tune up and install some metal racing pedals of which I supplied. I booked the appointment a week ahead. They had me bring the car in early. What happened? They left the car outside the shop for hours. I passed by the shop a few times going down the highway running errands and kept seeing it sitting outside which made me wonder why did they ask me to bring it in at 8:00 AM then? When they finally brought it in they did not work on it. I called in the afternoon to see if they were done only to be told that they had other customers that were more of a priority and they would like to keep it overnight so that they could get around to working on it the next day. I should not have agreed. I should have just gone and picked the car up then. But then I was placing my trust in them. The next day I called again in the afternoon. To be told someone was finally getting around to looking at it and installing the pedals. It would be ready by closing. So I thought how much can this cost. Maybe an hour to install the pedals (which would be generous) maybe an hour for the tune up (pretty average). Parts? $0 I supplied everything. And as I was told over the phone twice, most of the time no one had had much chance to look at it through the two days, so how much. $200 maybe $350??? NO TRY $1200.00!!! Total cost in parts on my bill was $1.95 for a washer, the rest was labour. WHAT LABOUR! So in my opinion - THIS PLACE WILL TAKE YOU! Needless to say I paid reluctantly. And they lost out on thousands of dollars from future service through me. I suggest go somewhere else, especially if you have a nice vehicle and you are a potential new customer. I think they may have a few clients that they have not taken advantage of and that they treat fairly but that was not the case for me and more than likely will not be the case for you. Caution is my warning. Get an exact to the penny quote ahead of time and demand and expect the job to be done promptly or go elsewhere. Or save yourself the grief and go elsewhere in the first place. I took my car to a garage across the street (highway) the next time. They did 4 significant jobs, worked on the car for about 3 hours and charged me $350.00 which in my opinion was a lot more inline with costs. Good luck.

Honest and knowledgeable. Great with old Volvo's.

These guys pay close attention to detail, get to the bottom of the cars problem and repair it right. Best shop to take your European import to.
