My recent truck-buying experience at Penticton Toyota was awesome, right from my first contact with the dealership. My salesperson was Brian and he is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and so easy to deal with. The value for my trade-in was more than fair and I loved driving away in a beautifully detailed truck with a full gas tank! To put it in perspective, my last dealing with a different dealership caused me to remove all license plate frames and dealership stickers as I didn't want to be associated with that particular dealer. I will, however, be keeping all the Penticton Toyota stuff on this truck. I also appreciated the amazing service and support staff at Penticton Toyota - keep up the great work everyone!

Great team, excellent service, awesome product! Thanks again to Chris, Larry, Ashley and the rest of the team for an awesome experience purchasing my first toyota product. If you are shopping from outside Penticton, they are worth the drive!

There are so many negative past dealings with Penticton Toyota it would seem over zealous to name them all, so here are a few: -Brought my 1 year old Tacoma to them for my A/C not working. Compressor was inoperative and they said it was low on refrigerant. They re-charged the refrigerant and told me it was good to go. Found out it was not properly diagnosed when it stopped working again on the highway enroute to Edmonton. Obviously didn’t do a leakage test before releasing. -Father brought his truck to them for new tires and alignment. Roughly 6 months later (after bringing back several times due to noise in front end and dealership citing no problem found) the tires were extremely worn and cupping. Dealership said it was improperly aligned and would not warranty (even though they performed the alignment). The tire manufacturer eventually warrantied the tires. -Tried to deal with the sales team numerous times and always found them extremely ignorant. All they would have had to do was keep their mouth shut as my mind was made up to buy a Toyota, but walked away instead. The last time I went, the sales person found more relevance in bashing the car I currently drive. He stated I made a poor choice and that Toyota doesn’t want to accept trade because it was another brand and “go back to where I purchased it and buy a new one from them”. -I often help people decide on new car purchases because I’ve worked in the industry as an engineer for 15 years. I always bring them to Toyota because they make good vehicles, however after dealing with Penticton Toyota, they always decide to go with another dealer strictly because they didn’t want to deal with Penticton Toyota’s staff.

Our car developed a bad rattle while driving along the highway. Unfortunately Toyota did not have anyone available in the shop however they directed us to the Minute Muffler down the street who were able to help us. Glad to see these people focused on finding solutions. All this was on a Friday afternoon, close to closing time. Very much appreciated by our family. We were able to get back on the road and continue our trip.

We purchased our car at Penticton Toyota. Primary reason for less than stellar review was the salesman who made us feel as though we were simply a means to his end, i.e. get the sale and get on with other sales.' This was not our experience at the previous Toyota dealership we dealt with.. Other than that, it was a good experience.
