Great prices

I was with friends headed to Tofino and we ran into some trouble with our boat trailer. No one in town could help us, all too busy or uninterested in a smaller job. We had heard about Tar's and gave it a shot, he immediately dropped what he was doing to help us out. We couldn't find the right part in town, but Tar fixed it up so we could make the trip and at no cost! Hard to expect that sort of kindness these days, if I lived in Port Alberni I would be a loyal customer.

Have known Tar and his son for many many years now. Started buying my fuel and having my cars repaired at the original Tars Texaco on 10th and Redford way back when. Now Tar and Tarmeet have expanded into selling pre-owned vehicles as well as tires and still maintenance. They have flipped the used car sales practice on its roof. They are honest and stand behind their vehicles and practices as well as offering good pre-owned vehicles at unbelievable fair prices. They even have a great salesman named Clay who isn't your usual slime ball hair slicked back salesman but is a no pressure laid back helpful guy in your corner friend. Watch out thou ladies he might ask you out on a date. All kidding aside if you're looking for a new ride go see the crew at Tars Cars.
