I was exceptionally disappointed and frustrated with the service department. The Service Manager assured me that the issue I was having was covered under warranty. What they failed to state was that there was a deductible on the warranty. It was not mentioned at any point during our twenty minute phone conversation, so I was a little dumbfounded when I showed up to get my vehicle and was given a bill for several hundred dollars. I was initially told that my vehicle wouldn't be able to be looked at until Tuesday. Staring down six days without a vehicle to get too and from work, I asked if it would be possible to have a service loaner and was promptly told no. I understand they're busy, but I still needed my vehicle fixed, so I agreed to leave it with them anyway and made arrangements to carpool with a coworker. Several hours later I was called back and let known that my vehicle was done. Shocked at the speed, as it was same day and not Wednesday, I headed to pick up my vehicle. It was when I went to pick up the vehicle that I was given the bill for the 'deductible' on the warranty and promptly told I couldn't have my vehicle back until it was paid. At no point during the entire day, before-during-or-after the service was completed was I told there was a deductible. I was told that it was covered under warranty. So for them to then tell me my vehicle was essentially being held hostage until I paid up seems like really shady business practice to me. If you know there's a deductible and you withhold that information, that's not fair to the customer. Now that my vehicle is home, in my possession again, the issues are still occurring and I'm coming to the realization they really didn't fix anything and just charged me for it, anyway. It was such a pleasure to buy a truck from Wood Wheaton recently. Ted (the best)was awesome throughout the entire process and we felt both comfortable and relaxed. We walked out completely satisfied and look forward to our next purchase in the future when the time comes. I absolutely recommend Ted to anyone needing a vehicle! lonnie and mark were amazing, super helpful and was overall just an amazing experience, got the truck i wanted at a wicked price that couldnt be beat, and both were honest and didnt try to pull any fast ones like i had experienced with other dealerships. great experience
