I am a Kaltire fan, except for the squamish branch. Rude, grumpy owner, and employees have been caught multiple times "joyriding" customer's vehicles in abusive mannor.

I ordered a pair of summer performance tires on August 21, they were in Chilliwack so shouldn't be too long to get them in. I called every week (sometimes twice a week) for 3 weeks to find out if they had been delivered yet, I was told every time that they weren't in yet and it would be looked into. Finally after 3 weeks I find out that they had been there for some time and nobody could figure that out. I booked an appointment for 7:30am on September 21 (a month after they were ordered) to have the tires installed while I waited, I showed up on time and was told that they were now too busy and I would have to leave my car, which I couldn't do as I need it to get to work. On a positive note, they are very nice and polite but this has been a frustrating comedy of errors trying to get a simple job done and I've lost a month of use of a summer car that only gets driven for 6 months a year.

Service was great and special mention to Randy for his warm welcome and for helping me out in a pinch!

Kal Tire used to be good, but now seems to be run by screw ups. Ordered new tires to match the existing fronts, service advisor said they will be in Wednesday. Made appt for Thursday and show up; Tires aren't there. He said I meant next Thursday - Yeah right, why accept the appointment then? Showed up next Thursday and asked for the new tires to be put on the front, and the front tires moved to the rear. They put the new tires on the rear instead of the front. Noticed this when the wife got back home. Too much hassle and long wait times to deal with these guys again so I'll rotate the tires myself.

Went here with a puncture. Apparently no one at this store could or would patch a tire. At least not for 4 days. They also weren't interested in selling me a tire or being anything close to helpful. Whatever happened to the good ol tire shop that might be able to help a guy out?
