Buyer Beware!

Buyer beware! Bought a car for $9000, that needed $4000 worth of repairs within 3 months. Warranty covered none of the repairs and no accountability from Autowise Motors. Don't waste your money!

In February 2025, we bought a 2013 Dodge Durango from Sunny at Autowise and it was a great experience! Sunny was an excellent communicator through the whole process. We reached out to him after seeing the car advertised online and he responded to texts promptly, providing all the information we requested. He's a straight-shooter who offered clear and concise answers to our questions about the vehicle. We drove down from Duncan to test drive the car, and he had it pulled out on the lot for us, all ready, even though we hadn't told him a specific time we'd arrive for the test drive. He knew we were serious, and so he'd also done up all the paperwork beforehand, so when we came back from the test drive and said we'd like to finalize the sale, it only took a few minutes to sign the paperwork. Overall, the experience working with Autowise was easy and professional. Sunny knows his stuff and he also knows how to create a good customer service experience. We'd certainly recommend Autowise to friends and family.

Do NOT buy a car from these people. Sunny sold me a 2007 jeep patriot and in less than two years I take it to the shop and they found the rear frame rotted and the rear diff broke away from the mounting. I texted sunny several times and no reply until I called and spoke to Jim. I got an email stating that it was possible It was from me but there’s no way the rust would get so bad to the point of rotting with only putting 11000 km on it. The Jeep was a write off and unfixable. They blamed me saying it was from “lack of maintenance” but I did regular oil changes and the guys at jiffy lube are not mechanics. Maintenance is also irrelevant to the rust/rot. This was my first time buying a vehicle and they assured it was checked over and I believed them, either their mechanic neglected to spot the rust or they lied about it on the inspection. Do not buy a car from these thieves.

I bought a 2007 toyota tacoma, everything seamed fine there was a new coat of paint on frame. There's great reviews so I trusted sunny. One and a half years later I took it in to get checked out, the the frame was so bad that there's holes eaten right threw it. Had to take it to a repair shop that sunny approved, ended up costing 9600 to fix it. Sunny sold me a Warrenty that the place didn't accept. So I could have saved 1000. He did however put 3000 towards the bill. Lesson learned don't trust this guy he will sell you a rust filled vehicle, so he doesn't have to pay full price to fix it.

Sunny and his team operate the BEST car lot in town. After a numerous search for the "ideal" vehicle, my business partner and I visited multiple car lots (5 in total) only to come across Autowise Motors. Not only was the sale comfortable and efficient, there was no drag time or pressure. We conducted our business through Sunny himself and I cannot say enough about the matter that he does business. Moving forward I plan to visit Sunny at Autowise Motors FIRST regardless of what type of vehicle I am looking for. I am planning to recommend the same to any friends, family or others who are selling or buying their vehicles.
