I bought a used F-150 for one of my guys in the my company as a thank you for all of his years of loyalty and hard work. The sales team was great to work with during the transaction but when the truck arrived the antenna was gone and base plate broken (see pic). I had already paid for the truck and shipping so I took delivery but immediately notified my sales person and sent this pic. He assured me they would make it right. Subsequent emails from Robert stated the part was ordered and would be shipping to me shortly. I only wanted the part; my guys would install it which I though was fair for the dealer and myself. Weeks went by and I as I followed up the replies got more and more vague. Finally I copied my sales person and a few others in the office whom I dealt with on the purchase and let them know that if they didn't send me the part by the end of that week I'll just buy it locally. (I never got the part) The issue here is when buying a vehicle whereby you are having it shipped there is little recourse should the dealer not follow through on it's obligation to make deficiencies like this right. If buying a vehicle such as I did be aware of what happened to me and know I didn't even get an apology or acknowledgement that they dropped the ball and didn't do what they said nor make it right. In the end us buyers are on our own once the check clears which is unfortunate. My advice is find a more upstanding dealer.

Please do yourself a favor and stay way. This is a nightmare dealership. I purchased a 2007 BMW M6 from Chicago Auto Place the last week of April (2016) and I've had to tow the car back to them twice now. The car was in their service department, and they were seeking $1000 for diagnosis. BMW themselves only charge $160 for full bumper to bumper diagnosis. It sat in their service department for 2 weeks with absolutely no communications from them. They didn't touched it. Within 2 weeks of buying the car from them, I had to tow it back for a bad clutch and flywheel that cost almost $3000 out of my pocket. 3 months later, I've had to tow it back to them again for internal engine damage ($30000). It's been 2 weeks and I can't contact or reach their service department. I've also had to pay $1500 in maintenance in between the two tows just to keep the car on the road. All they did was hide behind the b.s "as-is". Any decent dealership will at least make sure the cars being sold aren't junk.

Had a Great experience here, purchased an almost fully loaded E-350 from 2012, with 80,000 miles on it. My sales person was Luis Ortega. For a used car with that many miles they included an extra 30,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on the car, which I didn't expect to get a warranty on. At an extra cost of course but, being a european car the price for the peace of mind was well worth it. Happy to know I'm covered in the event of anything mechanical happening to the car after purchase. Tires, brake pads and as far as I could tell the rotors where all brand new OEM. The new tires on the car are Goodyear as well. I have pretty bad credit but they where more then willing to help me out. My APR is high but expected no less as this is great way for me to help restore my credit. I read all the bad reviews on here. Not sure where people are getting their negative experience from. If I purchase another Used vehicle after this one, it will probably be from them. Me and my friend who was there with me where also fed dinner once the deal was done, so that was a plus. If your a serious buyer, they are serious sellers.

I had a great experience with them when It comes down to buying the véhicule. I highly recommend Robert Weinberg as your point of contact. He's been very responding and professionel. The car I bought was in great shape. These people were never pushy, and I really appreciated that. They have some very interesting cars too and a pretty large show room. The reason I give them 3 star is because I was promised a few things that never happened once I bought the car. It is disappointing because at the end of the day, you’re. being Reminded that this is a “used car dealership “ and that is the main difference between a place like this and an actual dealership. I wish Robert would have followed through on replacing the tail light, giving me the info I requested on extra keys, and looked at the issue I reported right after buying the car with the top.

This place is legit. My car buying experience was great on there end. On my insurance however, American Family sucks. This dealership stayed late by an hour to try to get me in my car that night. They would have too if it hadn’t been for American Family. Now they have sent an Uber to my house to pick me up over 1 hour away because that’s just who these people are. Nice, courteous, and above and beyonders. I’d recommend them to anyone. I will post an update after I have the car for a month as well!
